Chapter 7

Oli's POV

I was still looking at her as she left. What was it that I saw in her? She has a nice, funny, and cute personality. She's perfect but Joel would get mad if I dated a fan. And Joel would get mad at SeaPeeKay if he dated Tanner. But I don't care what Joel thinks. If I want to date her, I'm going to. Even though I've known her for like 2 weeks. That's long enough to get to know a person. Right?

"Hey," I told Joel, looking at him,"I'm gonna go home." He looked at me and said,"K, see ya later." "Bye Liz," I said. Lizzie replied with a goodbye hug and she said,"Bye Oli." I nodded and walked over to Tanner, and SeaPeeKay.

"Guys," I said as I put my hand on SeaPeeKay's shoulder. Tanner smiled at me then I continued,"I'm gonna go home." SeaPeeKay and I did our hand shake and I waved at Tanner,"Bye you two."

I opened the door and a brush of cold air wiped across my face. I put my arms around myself and walked out, shut the door, and started to walk home.

Ring!! Ring!! Ring!!

My phone was going off and I looked at the name: Karli. I stopped walking and answered the phone. "Hello," I said. "Hey Oli," she answered,"Do you want to come over now?" "Sure," he said,"When's Tanner coming home?" I waited for her to answer. "Uh," she said,"Maybe in a hour." I nodded to myself,"Ok, I'll be over in a sec." "Ok." She replied then I hung up.

I put my phone back in my pocket and started walking towards Karli's house. As I walking to her house it was getting warmer I guess. Cause after a while I didn't have to put my arms around myself anymore.

I got to her house and I knocked on her door. Immediately she opened the door,"Hey." "Hey," I said back to her as I walked in. "So," she asked,"What do you want to do?" I looked around while standing the same place. "Maybe we can play the Xbox." I insisted. "Yeah!" She said.

She grabbed my wrist and took me up stairs to her room. She opened the door and I looked and I saw her window seal. The window seal she was sitting in when I came over the first time.

She turned on the console and put a game in: Black Opps 2. We started playing and she kept coming in first and I came in second or third. She was really good at this! She's so awesome.

"So," I asked,"What'cha doing tomorrow?" She shrugged still looking at the screen. "Probably sitting here, being a loner like I am everyday." She said sadly. I paused the game and I turned her to look at me,"You're not a loner," I said,"You got me." She let out a little smile. "Forever?" She asked. We both went silent. I said,"Forever." She hugged me. I hugged her back.

Karli and I kept playing till it got dark. We heard the door open then shut again. "Tanner?" Karli yelled to see if it was Tanner. There wasn't an answer. "Tanner?!" She yelled again. "I'll go see," I said. "Oli NO." She said grabbing my arm as I was standing up. "Don't worry," I said holding her hand and then she slowly let go and as did I.

I quietly opens her bedroom door and looked out. As I was walking out of her room Karli said,"Be safe." I nodded. "I will." I said.

Karli's POV

Oli was walking out of my room and I sat there, curious, scared, and worried. What would happen to him? "I really hope it's Tanner." I said to myself.

The suspense was killing me. I stood up and took a deep breath. I walked out of my room, looking around for who ever came into my house and Oli. I was now walking backwards down my downstairs hallway. I ran into someone and I scream. "It's just me." The voice said. I opened my eyes from shock. In hope it was Oli. I wrapped my arms around him as tightly as I could.

"Oli, you're okay." I said in joy. "Yeah," he said putting his head against mine. "Why are you out of your room," he asked,"What if you go hurt?" We let go of the hug and I stuttered,"The suspense was killing me, I had to see if you were okay." He looked down and me with a worry twinkle in his eyes. "Don't worry about me," he informed. "I have to worry." I explained.

We heard something in the kitchen. "Stay here." He said. "Oli," I said before interrupted me with a kiss on the forehead. He then walked off. I put my hand out. This time I was staying there like he asked.

~5 minutes went passed~

"Oli?" I said quietly. I texted him. I heard his phone go off. I kept texting him to follow the sound. The sounds let me into the kitchen where I saw Oli passed out on the floor and Tanner standing there in front of him and she was making a fist.

"WHAT DID YOU DO!" I asked her yelling and falling to the ground to help Oli. "He..he scared me and I swung." She explained. I shook him,"Oli, you okay?" He opened his eyes blink-by-blink. "Why am I on the ground." She asked rubbing his arm. "Ah!" He said. He was touching his head. "There's a bruise on your head." I told him.

I helped him up and I said,"I'll get you an ice pack." I walked over to the fridge and grabbed an ice pack out of the freezer. "Here," I said handing to him. "Thanks," he thanked. He sat down and I informed,"I'll be right back." I walked over it Tanner.

"Tanner," I said. She looked down with her ants crossed and she apologized,"I'm sorry." I hugged her," It's okay." I let go of the hug and said,"You were just protecting yourself." He chuckled. "I guess," she laughed. We both walked over to Oli.

"Oli," she said,"I'm sorry." He was holding the ice pack to his forehead,"Tanner, it's okay." He laughed. "I'm fine," he added. He stood up and gave her a one armed hug. "Oli," I asked,"You can stay here if you want." He smiled,"I'll stay here. I don't think I could make it home without falling asleep while walking." I laughed and so did he.
