Chapter 14
~Karli's POV~

I was running to the docks with tears falling from my eyes. I could hear Oli running after me, with worry. I could care less he was trying to kiss Tanner. But...was he? Or..was Tanner just saying that? I...I don't know.

I got on one of the docks and Oli was still walking towards me. I was backing up till I got to the edge. "Oli...you.." I said as Oli was standing right in front of me, almost touching me. "Karli, I swear to you. It wasn't me." He said reaching to grab my hand, and I pulled away my hand and put it on my chest. I asked,"How do I know that?" A tear ran down his face. "I love you and I would do that to you."

A tear ran down my face once more, and I saw Tanner running up behind Oli. She pushed Oli out of the way and pushed me off the dock into the freezing lake water.

As I was in the water, I saw seaweed, and fish swimming around me. I was floating deeper and deeper. I then heard a big splash. I could see Oli swimming towards me. I let out my last breath and shut my eyes.

~Oli's POV~

Karli wasn't moving. I got to her and I wrapped my arm around her and I was swimming her to the surface.

I was dragging her body onto the grass that was surrounding the lake. I started to pump her chest then give her mouth-to-mouth over and over again. She then coughed and spit water out, and she started to breath again. She was squinting. "Oli?" She asked quietly and weak. "Karli, I'm right here." I told her as I put my hand on her cheek. "Tanner, she..." She said. "I know what she did." I responded, picking Karli up bridal style and walking her home.

Karli and I were both soaking wet. SeaPeeKay came running down the street. "What happened!" I looked down at Karli,"You're crazy girlfriend pushed Karli in the lake!" Karli was kinda slipping and I adjusted her to where she wasn't. "What! Tanner?" He asked. I nodded yes and looked towards the lake. SeaPeeKay started running angrily and furiously.

I kept running with Karli down to her house. "Karli," I said opening her front door,"Please stay with me, ok?" She still had her eyes shut and she was breathing. I was so worried. I hope she's okay.

I didn't care that she was soaking, I laid her down on her couch and started shaking her. "Karli.." I confessed,"I know you might've thought that I kissed Tanner, but I swear to you, I didn't." I held her non-moving hand, but she clutched it, tight. I laid my head on her arm.

SeaPeeKay came in with Tanner, pulling her by her hair. "NOW EXPLAIN TO ME THIS!" He said pointing to me and Karli. "Oli tried to kiss me." She tried to lie, but SeaPeeKay already knew the truth. "I know he didn't do that! He's my best friend, and I know that would NEVER do that to her!" He screamed in her face,"You need timeout, don't you!" Tanner started to shake her head no, but he picked her up and slung her in her room, and the lock was on the outside.

"I'm so so so sorry Oli." He said. I looked down at Karli,"Why does all these things happen to us? Why? I just want to be happy...with her." SeaPeeKay looked down at Karli. "Oli.." He said looking at me in the eyes,"Trust me, Karli will be okay." I nodded to him, okay.

After about 10 minutes, I started to just cry on her arm. "Karli..I know you're there." She started to flinch. "Oli?" She said groggily. "Karli!" I said, wiping away the tears. "Oli!" She said and I immediately kissed her. "Karli..I." I said before she interrupted me. "Oli I know, I heard you." She said as her hand swiped my cheek. "But you didn't wake up." I said. "I know..I couldn't make myself, my eyes were shut but I couldn't open them," she admitted,"I believe you." I smiled with joy.

"Oli," she said,"I came back in my room because I heard you two talking. I heard you scream 'Tanner!' So I came in and my emotions came before my heart and what I know that you'd do and not do." SeaPeeKay looked at her and I looked at him, then back at Karli. "I..I...love you." I explained to her. She smiled at me with a happy and joyful smile, and she leaned up and hugged me. I grabbed her arms and I pushed her off, I then just kissed her, as I've wanted to this whole time.

I picked up Karli and walked her to her room while SeaPeeKay followed us. I got to Karli's room and SeaPeeKay went into Tanner's. I could hear him talking to her though the wall, and he sounded mad then he was fine.

Time- 12:00

"Oli, I'm sleepy." Karli told me, as she was finished drying off and as was I. I walked over to her,"Ok, were do you want me to sleep?" She looked at me with a 'you're stupid' look." She pointed at her bed,"With me obviously." She chuckled, then hugged her and kisses the side of her head. "Let me go get my pajamas on, then we can lay down." I suggested. She nodded and said,"hurry up though." Then she laughed. Then I chuckled and walked out of her room and put my pajamas on.

I walked back into bed room and she was sitting in her bed on her phone. "I'm back." I said as I sat down beside her. She smiled. "I want you to know something," I said as I held one of her hands,"I love you and no one could replace you. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me. I'm glad that I fount you." She looked into my eyes and looked into her's. "Oli, I love you too, and I'm glad I found you too. My heart can't stop telling me that I found the right one." She responded to me.

I looked in to her eyes once more. I kissed her, over and over again. Our hearts were beating against each other's. I looked down at her cute self,"I love you Karli." She smiled and said,"I love you too Oli."
