Time Heals Scars: After Mockingjay

Ch 9: Where

Peeta's POV (first time ever)
I have no idea what just happened. The only thing I can conclude is that Katniss had a terrible nightmare. I have to check the meadow for her. That is the only safe haven she has, other than in my arms.
/////15 mins later/////
I am about to duck under the fence when I notice a body lying on the ground about 20 feet away. I scramble under the fence as fast as I possibly can and run to the body. When I get there I almost scream. Katniss is lying there with her eyes shut and blood soaking through her pants. I have to get her to the hospital, but I have to find a way to try to stop the blood. I tear off the sleeve of my t-shirt, gently pull away the top of her pants, and press the cloth against her lower region. I replace the top of her pants and then slip my arms under her body. I pick her up and run to the hospital. When I get inside I run to the first nurse I see.
"My wife is pregnant and she's unconscious. I don't know what happened but there is blood all over her." I almost scream.
"How far is she?"
"Eight and a half months." I say, scared.
"I need a stretcher over here!" She says to the woman at the front desk. A few seconds later a group of doctors and nurses bring a stretcher over to me. I gently lay Katniss on the stretcher and follow the paramedics down a hallway.
