I decided to drive away from the school and even home since I don't want my grandparents starting asking questions about not being in school or causing trouble at school and such. I rather just be dead instead of, of my mother and my brother but I guess the universe is teaching me a lesson of how life works.

I ended up myself at a quiet beach where my brother and I would always drive up here on Saturdays and Sundays morning to see the most peacful view of the horizon and to be honest I like to hear the sounds of the beautiful waves, just moving forward and clashing. It can actually be a bit windy and foggy but it is still so calming and relaxing to see and to hear.

I could already feel the wind picking up the speed, slowly blowing on to my face and being sunless. So I ambled towards the edge where the water was moving forward the wet sand and the water touching between my toes.

I walked forward further more and more that I could already feel the cold water on my ankles and on my shins.

The water was halfway to my neck, that I quickly took a deep breath and dived in to see the bottom being so murky and pitch-black. That's when I went up to catch some air for my lungs and dived back in again.

I closed my eyes and feeling relaxed.

Suddenly, I felt something grabbing tightly on my wrist and I screamed when I saw a pair of two golden-brown eyes, that looks more like a human eyes.

I swam up to catch some air but I could not see anyone out there, not behind me nor in front of me.

"Who's out there?" I shouted.

I swam again to the shoreline where I ran, grabbed my backpack, my shoes and climbed in to my truck and drove onto the road.

I was at a local restaurant not far from the beach, hanging out with my friends; Amber, Carlsen and Jezlynn.

"You saw human golden-brown eyes in the water?" Amber questioned me.

"Yes," I replied back.

"It could have been anything, a shark, a fish or a whale," Amber said.

"But you don't understand. It grabbed my wrist," I said scared, "it felt real. It - I'm not crazy."

"We are not saying that your crazy, RJ. It could have been anything, that's we're trying to say, babe." Carlsen winked at me and took a huge sip of his diet coke.

"Hey, let's just change the subject, alright. So what happen with Bridget today?" Jezlynn asked, "I heard that you punched her on the nose."

"Jezlynn, you know if somebody talk trash about my family. I will do anything to them with any weapon I'll find," I explained.

"Of course I know but then why you left without us though?" Jezlynn questioned me.

"I wanted to," I responded, "I gotta go. See you guys later," I stood up with the keys of the truck when Tommy appeared in front of me.

"Let me go with you," Tommy said.

I grabbed my things then I walked out with Tommy.

I drove little Tommy to his house but I refused to stay with him at his home since I gotta go home and hear the talk of my grandmother of why I punched Bridget McCain on the face.

Tommy broke the silence, "RJ," he looked at my direction, "do you want to hang out with my buddies to the comic shop tomorrow? They brought more new comic books for sale."

"Uh, I don't know. Tommy," I sighed, "how did we end up being friends?"

"Well, you heard me shouting the word, 'stop,' since there were bullies that were punching me and they gave me a swollen black eye," Tommy explained, "you saved me. I thanked you, you took me to the clinic and you said that no one will hurt me again while your around. We end up being friends."
