RJ Hensley POV

My friends; Elaine, Amber, Carlsen and Jezlynn, we were  standing in the line to buy five tickets inside at the movie theater where there were a dozen of people here crowding us and pushing us, like we are all invisible here.

"So what movie are we going to watch or what you picked for us,  Jezlynn," I questioned her.

Jezlynn replied with, "the Priest."

My eyes widened, "I thought we settled for scary and comedy," I told her.

"Oh come on," Elaine cut in to the conversation, "don't be a chicken."

"I'm no chicken," I crossed my arms against my chest.

"Then come on," Elaine pulled me and wrapped her arm around my neck and kissed me on my cheek, "it's going to be fun."

As we all sauntered leisurely towards the steel double doors and we went in seeing nothing but a bit of murkiest in here that I notice that little Tommy wasn't here with us.

I told Jezlynn to text Tommy this morning to invite him to go to the  movies tonight but I guess she totally forgot to invite him.

I took a seat next to Jezlynn while Carlsen was in front of us seating next to Amber and Elaine next to Amber. We always decide to seat on the back where is more quiter and spookier which it's our favorite place. That's why we come here very early just to seat on the back, just like sitting on the back of the bus.

I whispered, "hey Jezlynn, where's little Tommy?"

"No clue," Jezlynn whispered.

"Didn't you text him? You guys were suppose text him and bring him here," I told her sounding already frustrated.

"I didn't bring my girlfriend August to the movies," Jezlynn said.

"That is totally different, Jezlynn," I explained, "Tommy is my friend and he's part of our gang."

Carlsen tilted his head to face me, "to be in the gang, he has to pass some tests. "

"You didn't asked me to do some tests," I said.

"Because we are all friends to you since we were kids. Besides Tommy is new to us," Jezlynn grinned, "sshh the movie is starting."

How can my 'friends' do this to my great friend Tommy?

Yes, I know he is a geek, a nerd and super intelligent that skipped a grade or two but he indeed has feelings like everybody else, like me, my brother Eddie and heck even my mother had feelings.

I sighed when I started to think about my mother and big brother Eddie.

You know, Eddie was not just a best brother ever, a damn good musician and a sneakier. He also loved the game of hockey. Eddie had a dream, to be in a rock band with his friends. Which by the way, I haven't seen them in a while since the plane accident.

I wonder, how Eddie's friends been doing lately or how are they.  If they're alive and well. Maybe one of them got married or maybe one of them moved far away from this town. I doubt that Eddie's friends moved away. They have to be somewhere here in New Jersey.

I came back to reality and said, "I'm going to the bathroom," I whispered to Jezlynn.

I quickly stood up and left the movie theater. I just needed to catch some fresh air.

No, it's not because the movie or some sort. Honestly, I wasn't even paying attention to the movie or when the movie started. I zoned out.

My phone rang where I quickly answered it, "hello?"
