Daryl POV

"RUUUUUUN". I shouted.

I ran in pace with Merle and a few meters behind Emma. God she was fast. We ran until we where cornered off and we had walkers to our front, back and right. We all ran left until I found an alley way. I shouted for Emma but she just kept running. I lost sight of her and ran down the alley and climbed up a ladder with Merle behind me.

We reached the roof of the building and I sat down on a pipe. I froze. I couldn't move any part of my body. I wanted to shout and scream but when I opened my mouth nothing came out. Merle was speaking to me but I didn't listen.

I had lost my sister the one person I had promised to protect...... she was gone and I could not do anything about it...... I was helpless.

It had gotten dark when Merle had finally had enough and hit me over the head.

"OW WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT FOR". I yelled in Merle's face.

"You blanked out dummy". Merle mocked looking kind of glad to have me back.

"Oh...yeah....sorry". I muttered as I walked around a bit.

"Can you answer my question now". Merle asked

"And what would that question be". I grumbled

"Where is Emma". Merle asked worryingly

"She's gone". I said as I saw Merle's face drop. I felt tears come to my eyes but looked down and blinked them away. No. Dixon's don't cry.

Emma POV

I hurriedly slammed the shop door shut and locked it. I turned my back to the door and slid down it until my bum touched the floor. I pulled my knees close to my chest and hugged them.

I felt and heard banging on the door from walkers trying to get in. But other than that I was alone. I rested my head on my knees and let the tears roll down my face and onto my pants.

I cried until I had no more tears left to cry and fell asleep.
