Emma POV

I handed Dale the walker rope and took off my harness. Dale tugged on the rope, looked at the well in shock. He walked towards the well (still holding the rope) and looked down it.

"How did you do it". Dale said shocked.

"Wait what she do". Shane said angrily as he stormed towards the well.

Everyone else followed and looked in the well. Everyone almost in sync looked at me with shock.

"What it wasn't hard". I smiled.

"You have skills kid". Shane smirked at me.

"Thanks......but what is the plan". I said and looked around.

"We get everyone to pull the thing out of the well". Shane said.

"Then what do we do". Andrea asked.

"We kill it". Shane said abruptly.

We all walked over to Dale and grabbed the rope. We started pulling and finally had the walker moving out of the well. It was about halfway out when T-dog realized the walker was stuck. He shouted for us to stop but I don't think everyone heard him. We pulled and pulled until there was a snap, the rope gave way and we all fell backwards.

"Shit". I cursed as I looked at the walker which had torn in half and half was above the well and half had fallen back in the well.

"Well it's a good thing we didn't do anything stupid like shoot it". T-dog mocked.

"What are we going to do with this half of th....never mind". I was interrupted by t-dog smashing in the walkers skull with the water pump.

"I'm going to close off the well". Maggie said and then walked off.

"That was great guys...well done". I said sarcastically and walked after Maggie.

I caught up to her and realized she was crying. I ran in front of her and put my hands on her shoulders. She looked up at me with big puffy red eyes.

"Hey what's up". I asked.

"That man just ripped a someone in half then smashed his head in and almost killed you in the process". She said whimpering.

"Was not almost killed and that guy was not a guy at all he was a monster who eats other people". I explained.

"No their ill people....would you kill someone if they got a cold or something". She argued.

"No but those things are not people....they eat other people and they don't feel pain or have emotions or remember anything about their life when they turn". I let go of her shoulders and stood up strait.

"Okay....okay....I'm sorry I have just never seen one killed up close before". She calmed down and stopped crying. "I need to go and saddle up two horses so I can go on a run with Glenn". She said walking passed me.

"Okay". I let her go and saw Shane cleaning guns on a bench under the patch of trees their camp was under.

I walked up to him. "Do you want a bit of company". I asked nicely. "I'm hoping we can start fresh and get to know each other". I said hopefully.

He looked up at me. I smiled, he returned it and gestured for me to sit down on the other side of the bench. I sat down, took my weapons off and lied them next to me. I got the blue rag from my pocket and started cleaning my arrows one by one making sure they had no blood on them or that they where not bent out of shape.

"I saw your weapons before....it's an impressive set". Shane said while taking a gun apart.

"Thanks....my brother's bought me them when they where able to". I smiled.
