After we have made sure  the closest walkers are gone we all head back to camp.
On the way back Carl and I have to sit next to each other, in the back of Glenn and Maggie's car. There are cases of water next to us so we are squished. Carl looks at me and I look at him. We both smile. It's romantic, almost perfect. He scooted closed to me and thanked me again for saving his life like, I was some type of long life hero or something. He held my hand and we sat there for the rest Of the ride. In the same spot. In the same position. Except for the one like 5 minute part where the car jurked over sideways and my head fell into his shoulder. I didn't move and just stayed there. Until that is Glenn looked into the mirror and saw so I adjusted my self. Then Maggie turned around in her seat and looked at us. Smiles. And turned back around. I loved every second of that ride.

We arrived back at camp. Camp isn't the biggest. But we manage. We started it the day after Lori died. The day ma parents died. It was a few day process but we did it. We had to take to person shifts for walker patrol. There's a small fence. Made from worn down wood we took from the interior of an old house. We built little home/shelters. They kinda look like bigger versions of dog houses. It's better than being eatin alive like mom was. Every second with my mom and dad will be forever cherished.

We unload everything in the truck, and Glenn's car. Ricks only focus is to get michone into bed, and go to sleep. We have all had a tough week so let's end it on a good note.  "Good night" Carl says to me. "Good night" I say Mack stuttering wise.
