I walked to Rebekah's house to get ready for tonight and I was a bit scared. I knocked on the door hoping for her to answer but it was Elijah (thank god). He looked surprise to see me,"Vanessa come on in, how are you and how's your family, he asked. "I'm fine thanks for asking, my family well that's a topic we'll talk about for later", I giggled. "So I'm guessing Rebekah told you what happened", I whispered. "She did tell me and I'm very sorry....well isn't this great everyone knows what's happening but me why is that Elijah", I heard someone cut him off. I knew who it was but I didn't turn back to see him I wasn't ready. "We didn't tell you Nicklaus because you weren't here when I asked you to," I heard Rebekah say. I finally turned around to see her at the top of the stair case I tried to avoid eye contact with Klaus but I could see home staring straight at me through the corner of my eye. "Hello Vanessa", he said. "Klaus", I responded. "You look beautiful like always", he said. "You don't look bad yourself". "Ok if you gentlemen don't mind I'm going to have some girl time", she said. I went up stairs to get ready but I turned around one last time to see Klaus not once taking his eyes off of me. I started to blush and think back to when we had fun.

"Ok now how do you want your hair and makeup", she asked. "Uh very little makeup and hair curled and put it into an up do(hair up and down fyi). I closed my eyes as she started to do my makeup. As I paid no attention I could hear the whisperers around the house. I must have looked like a fool when she saw me brother, "I'm an idiot for interrupting you both, I should have waited until the ball to talk to her, I didn't know what came over me,I'm sorry" Klaus said. Meeting him wasn't that bad I mean he kind of looked like a fool but it was in a cute way. I listened once more what if she doesn't like me anymore, what if she still afraid of me then BANG. I saw Elijah run into Rebekah's room like crazy. "Sorry to interrupt but I need your help",Elijah asked Rebekah. "Ok well we're all done Umm bang! I'll be right back Vanessa",she said. He's not here Rebekah he was just here! Calm down just search the house we'll find him Rebekah said.
Minutes passed I decided to go in the back while they look for Klaus I mean I should help but they'll find him. As I saw him near the water fountain I was going to talk to him but when I walked towards someone grabbed me by they neck and pushed me against the wall. At this point I wish I felt the darkness flowing through me but it didn't. The man had golden eyed like klaus must be a hybrid i thought, I feel to the ground when I saw Klaus push him off of me. He roared like an animal and the hybrid went else where. "Are you ok love did he hurt you", he asked sounding concerned. "No I'm fine thank you", I said giving him a smile. "I should have ripped his throat out I should have....Klaus", I said cutting him off I'm ok. We sat down at the fountain the silence was awkward but it was broken. "How've you been",I asked. "I'm fine",he said. "No Klaus I'm fine",I said trying to lighten up the mood. "That we can agree on",he chuckled. I've missed you dearly and not a day goes by where don't think about you. I could hear what he was thinking he really tore his self apart over me what I felt for Emmett was nothing compared to Klaus. I was scared if I should take a risk and let him back in my life or let him be. I knew the right thing to do was take the risk. I help his hand in mine letting him know that I'm here and I'm not leaving. Our heads came closer to each other I felt his lips inches away. It was broken when Rebekah came,"there your are I was looking for y'all Klaus the ball starts at 8 don't forget to get dress and Vanessa we still have to pick out a dress so come along",she said. As told I followed her back inside the house but stopping at the door and turned to see Klaus staring at but this timed he looked as if everything was fine now.
