An alarm clock going off woke me up. I yawned and sat up. My eyes went wide in shock, not realizing where I was at first. When my eyes focused I saw that I was in Lydia’s room. That Allison girl was sprawled out next to me, nobody has introduced me to her yet, I’ll have to get Scott to or something. To my surprise Lydia was laying on Stiles who was sprawled out over the end of the bed. He was snoring rather loudly if you ask me. People were scattered all over the room too, along with solo cups and beer bottles. My nose crinkled up as the smell of alcohol and vomit mixed filled my nose. I got up out of the bed, careful not to step on any human beings or any substances on the ground.

Once I was in the kitchen I climbed up on a chair and grabbed my keys off of the top of the fridge, I had put them there last night when the party got a bit crazy and filled with sloppy drunk people.

I exited the house and got into my car, starting it with the flick of my wrist. The time flashed on my radio, 10:46. Memories of last night flashed into mind, well only one thing to be honest. I had a date with Aiden. I drove home to get ready even though I had no idea when the actual date was.

I parked my car in the garage and headed inside. There was a note on the island counter next to an envelope. I picked the note up and read it.

‘Dakota,

Me and your father had to fly down to Florida. Grandpa had to be rushed to the hospital because he got into a horrible car accident. I left an envelope with money in it for EMERGENCIES ONLY. We’ll be back in a week or so,

Love Mom and Daddy’

Grandpa got into an accident? And mom didn’t call me!?

The note lay crumpled in my hand, I released it and it fell on the counter next to the white envelope. Before I went into my room I took the envelope along with me, it’s going to have a nice new home in my desk drawer.

Another note was lying on my bed. I scoffed and picked it up, opening it in one sly motion.

‘Be ready at 12, bring a bathing suit too Kitten

            -Aiden’

I checked the wall clock, 11:03. I quickly dropped everything onto my bed and ran into my bathroom as if my life depended on it. I only had an hour to get ready! I stripped out of the alcohol smelling dress and tossed it into my dirty laundry basket along with my used undergarments. I got into the shower and turned the water on, cold water greeting me first causing me to jump a bit. I scrubbed my body and hair, not even caring about the temperature of the water.

I wrapped a fluffy pink towel around my body and hair as I made way to the closet. Eventually I settled on an outfit and bathing suit. (http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=93673367). As for my hair I blow dried it and let it hang over my shoulder in a curtain of waves. I put on my sunglasses and went to wait on my front porch.

In five minutes or so Aiden arrived on his motorcycle.

“Get on Kitten” He handed me a helmet which I wouldn’t take. “Kitten please” He tried one more time, I pushed it back and crossed my arms over my chest.

“Why can’t you just drive my car?” I asked in attempt to fish the keys out of my pocket. Aiden gave a long sigh but shut his motorcycle off. He took his helmet off and made his way to me.
