Before I knew it, we were all going as fast as we could towards the Ice Queen, ready to fight. It must have looked pretty ridiculous for a bunch of birds attacking somebody and the thought made me giggle a little.

When we were close to the Ice Queen, she looked down with a sneer on her face. "What is it? Can't you see I'm busy!"

Pintry then took a nasty nip with his beak at her leg. "OW!" she shrieked. "What was that for?"

"For ruining my life, you pitiful girl!" Pintry sneered back and started pecking at her feet. The Ice Queen tried to dodge the stabs of of his beak but ended up tripping backwards. Sasha and I took that as a great opportunity to get on top of her, considering we were much smaller than Pintry. We pecked her arms harshly, trying our hardest to make and impact to hurt her a little. We didn't want to an extreme point, just to teach her a lesson.

I saw Tobi look at the scene of us attacking the Ice Queen and his mouth was open in shock. That was the first time i'd actually seen him looking surprised. "Help us Tobi!" I yelled to him.

Without saying anything he leaped down and turned into his tiger form. "Don't hurt her too much though, okay?" I said as I pecked at the Ice Queens stomach. I saw a glint of amusement in Tobi's tiger eyes as her pounced on top of the Ice Queen, giving her a scare.

"I said get off of me!" She screamed in frustration. I looked over at Sasha. "You better get the crown soon."I said in a hushed voice.

"Your right." She nodded as she flapped her wings in the Ice Queens face. "But this is so much fun!" she laughed and hopped down from the Ice Queen, heading towards the crown.

Pintry, Tobi and I continued to hold the Ice Queen down, which was no problem because Tobi was so heavy. The Ice Queen started growling which then turned into shrill shriek. "AHHHHHH!"

An odd power from the Ice Queen blew us off of her, causing us to collapse on the cold floor.

"For the hundredth time, stop it!" Now that the Ice Queen was standing up again, she was a lot more intimidating, despite her short height. "How dare you betray me and bring in these troublesome humans!" She yelled at Tobi and Pintry then searched with her eyes for me and Sasha.

"Where's the other bird?!" she said menacingly as she scanned the room. She spotted her behind the ice table where the crown was contained. Sasha was trying her hardest to open the little door but it was sealed shut. "What are you doing?! Get away from that!" The Ice Queen strode over to her and swished her hand. A blue light of power flew from her hand and crashed into Sasha. It blew her across the room but Sasha managed to fall down lightly using her wings.

What were we supposed to to now? We needed to get that crown. Then something caught my eye. The Ice Queen stood in front of the glass table case but I swear I could faintly see a light shimmer come from around her neck. Could it be another jewel? I thought with great curiosity. It had to be another jewel and I was absolutely certain when I saw a jewel fling around on a necklace, attached to her neck. The Ice Queen tucked it back out of sight but it was too late to hide it now.

I looked around at the others and from the look on their faces, they had seen it too. We nodded at each other and charged forwards once more. "Get away from me!" The Ice Queen yelped. "I mean it!" She swished her hand once more and blue magical light shot out from her hand.

We thankfully managed to dodge her magic this time. I had a feeling it was going to be harder to attack the Ice Queen this time. An idea then popped into my head.

I started running harder with my little bird feet and jumped into the air with my wings outstretched. I was then soaring and flying in the air. It was the most amazing feeling I had experienced in my life. I treasured that moment of being in the air before shooting down towards the Ice Queens head. She didn't seem to notice me for she was distracted with fighting off the rest of our little animal gang.

I slowed down slightly when I came near to her head. She let out a surprised shriek as I landed on her shoulder. Now I just need to get this necklace off her. Thankfully it was big enough to just pull it off her head. I don't think I could have managed to undo the clasp without any fingers. I tugged at the necklace and it took a moment before the Ice Queen knew what I was doing.

"What are you doing?!" she said as she tried to throw me off of her. She didn't realize that she was actually making it easier for me to pull the necklace off of her. Before she knew it I had the necklace clamped in my beak. "Get back here!" She cried with anguish. I took off from her shoulder as quick as I could, my lungs heaving. I was feeling very tired after the struggle of getting the necklace and flying.

I flew to my friends who were cheering me on. I defiantly knew now that they were all my friends.

"Great thinking, Myra!" Sasha said happily.

"Let's go, before the Ice Queen actually notices what's going on." We all ran towards the mirror portal.

"She's not very bright is she?" Pintry said, with a small laugh. "She can't even use her magic, now that we have the jewel."

"That's right!" Tobi said panting. "As long as she doesn't manage to acquire the ability to fight back properly with her actual body, then I think we'll be fine." I laughed at this. She couldn't seem to actually fight, could she?

"Here's the portal." Pintry said. "I'd advise you to get in there before the Ice Queen stops you."

"Are you sure you don't want to come with us? It's quite cold up there too."

"Thank you, but I must stay here." Pintry then looked back at the shocked Ice Queen. "I'll deal with her too." he paused. "And thank you for making my day a little more exciting. I haven't had this much adventure in years."

I smiled at him. My eyes moistened a little. Agh. No time to be emotional now."Yeah, and thanks for helping us too." Sasha said. She seemed to have warmed up to the little penguin as well.

"We'll never forget you Pintry."

"And I will never forgot you all as well. Now you better go. Good luck!"

"Well then. Who's first?" Tobi said as he nodded at the mirror portal. "I'll go first, I guess." Sasha said. She added. "You will turn us back to normal with the jewel, right?"

"Of course. Just as soon as we get up there." Tobi helped Sasha into the portal and she was sucked upwards as she waved.

"Your turn then?" Tobi smiled.

"You better come with us you know." I said crossly.

"And why wouldn't I?" He grinned and looked into my eyes again. I jumped a little inside. I hopped onto his open palm and got ready to enter the portal.I turned back. "Bye Pintry." I waved.

As soon as I touched the portal the air was sucked out of me. The pressure was once unbearable, especially since I was a smaller creature now. I clamped my eyes shut, tears forming in them from the wind and partly because I would miss being down there in a way. In a few seconds the pressure eased and I felt my self float down gently on the soft snow.

I blinked my eyes open. I was lying on the ground of the field near the circle of trees. I was finally back home.

It looks like were nearing the end to this little story. :( Just one or two more chapters left. I hoped you enjoyed this chapter as well as the next ones. I feel like this chapter is slightly shorter than the other ones but I guess that's alright. Once again, i'm not so sure about the chapter name. So if you give me any suggestions I might change it. Type you all next time!
