My Mistake

"Nikki."I heard someone whisper.

"Hmm?" I mumbled.

"Nikki get up!" I heard the whisper again.

"No."I answered.

Nikki come on get up."I was finnaly able to tell who was whispering.

"Audrey what could you possibly want from me right now??" I asked grumpily.

"Nikki,the doctor's appointment today remember."Audrey said annoyed. I instantly woke up and and shot out of bed.

Oh my gosh we're gonna be late!!! Why didn't u wake me up??"I questioned. Audrey rolled her eyes at me. I slipped on an aqua blue top and jean shorts and put on sneakers. Audrey pulled her curly brunette hair into a bun. And put on her green flip flops on. Then we walked out to the car. Audrey had slept over last night so she could drive me to the doctors appointment. It was really quiet until Audrey all of a sudden asked a question I hadn't even thought about, "if you really are pregnant what are you gonna do?"

"I have no clue." I answered. And it was true, what was I gonna do? I sat in silence the rest of the ride there.

"Nikki get out of the car." Audrey said. We were at the doctors and I couldn't force myself out of the car.

"I can't." I said.

"Nikki hurry up we need to find out if your pregnant." Audrey said.

"Fine." Then I managed to climb out of the car. We walked into the doctors office and went to the receptionist. Then we sat down and waited.

"Nikki" I heard my name called and stood up.

"Hello Nikki what can I help you with today?" The doctor asked me.

"Ummm I think I'm pregnant I took two tests and they both came up positive but I wanted to be sure." It all came out in a rush.

"Ok I need you to pee in this cup then I'll run a few tests and I'll get back to you." She said to me.

"Ok." I answered. I gave her the cup and she walked away. I sat,then I paced then, then I sat again waiting for the doctor. Finally the doctor walked in, "congratulations Nikki you are definitely pregnant." The doctor said with a smile. Oh crap.
