"What are you waiting for? Hindi ka ba bababa?" I asked the 'passenger princess' who was in the passenger seat at the back instead of sitting
here in front of me.
"Give me the car key." Dafnhie
"What?"
"Are you deaf?"
"Why would I give you the key?"
"Because it's my car. And I needed to go somewhere. And you're just a driver slash watchdog so don't question me!"
"Will you stop acting like that? It's not fun anymore! We're at Uni and I won't tolerate that attitude of yours here. I have a reputation."
"A bad one."
"At least, not as bad as yours," I said sarcastically. I honestly don't want to bicker with her today. I was just making fun of her the first time we met because I wanted us to at least become friends.
"Give me my keys!"
"The heck no. What if you ran away?"
"Not my problem."
"Look here Dafdaf..." sighs heavily. "Whatever is going on inside that empty head of yours, stop thinking about it. Do you really think it's just you and me here? That your dad who's overprotective of you on your whole entire life suddenly decided to remove all your bodyguards? I know you're aware of whatever the fck is happening right now." I said as I looked in the side view mirror, checking the car at the back. Of course, it's Dafnhie's real bodyguard.
Hindi nila basta basta aalisin ang bodyguard nya just because she's with me. Thank God they're not allowed inside the departments.
I know that my parents wouldn't force me to do something I don't like. They just saw an opportunity that's why they're trying if it will work for Dafnhie and I. Driver? Bodyguard? Who are they kidding? Cliché
" Dafdaf?"
"What the fck is Dafdaf?"
"I'm talking to you, passenger princess."
"Stop giving me nicknames, you pig! And I'm fully aware of what's happening right now. It's not just a simple punishment or whatever it is! I know what they're trying to do!"
"At least they have a heart to make us friends first."
Dafnhie rolled her eyes "We're not going to be friends! I'm not interested."
"So not friends, hmmm, excited much?" he smirked "Can't wait to be my wife?" I smiled so sweetly just to annoy her and I could see on her face that she was trying not to smack my handsome face.
"Stop moron! Just fcking-"
"I'm sorry." I suddenly cut her off. "About last time... I was just honestly trying to lighten up the mood between us that time but believe me, I'm taking things seriously." I sincerely said. "I'm going to pay you for the phone and food once I get back my cards... Okay? For now, let's be civil with each other at least."
"I don't fcking care about that phone. And why are you being so dramatic right now? Can't you just give me the dmn key?"
"No. Just leave it to me and don't try to do anything funny... Sneaking out won't do any good. And uhm-uh, well..."
"What?"
"I heard what happened to you back then. About the kidnapping and all. I'm so sorry to hear that. "
