Kakatapos lang mag-shower ni Dafnhie. It's already 7 p.m., and she's getting ready for dinner.
She blow-dried her hair inside her bathroom and was about to leave when she opened the bathroom door. She was startled to find that all the lights in her bedroom were off.
Impossible, she thought.
It was bright outside, and they had an automatic generator, so she figured it couldn't be a power outage. Unless someone intentionally turned off the lights in her room.
Even though it was bright outside, no light penetrated her room because her floor-to-ceiling windows were tinted.
Dafnhie also felt like someone was watching her. She suddenly got goosebumps.
She hated the dark.
"Yaya? Yaya! Yaya! Alicia!" she called out to her nanny and housekeeper.
But then she realized that no matter how much she shouted, they wouldn't hear her because the rooms in the mansion were soundproof. She wanted to leave, but she was only wrapped in a white towel.
Dafnhie started to panic because she couldn't see anything. She walked slowly toward her bedside table to grab her phone and turn on the flashlight.
She was about to grab her phone when suddenly, a cold hand touched her shoulder.

"Gahd, dmn it! I'm sorry!" agad niyang nilapitan ang dalaga, pero napansin niya na naka-twalya lang pala ito, at kitang-kita ang makinis at maputi nitong mga hita. Napa- atras siya bigla at agad na kumuha ng kumot para takpan ang dalaga.
"D-Dafnhie, I'm—I'm so sorry. I was just trying to scare you. It was a joke. Fck."
Agad niyang binuhat ang dalaga ng bridal style at iniupo ito sa kama.
"Alicia told me to call you for dinner. I didn't know you took a shower. And when I saw that you weren't in your room, I decided to play a joke on you. I didn't hear anything inside the bathroom, so I assumed—"

"Gahd, Dafnhie, you need to wear your clothes first. Yeah. Yes. That's right. Let me accompany you to your closet room."
