"Holy Shit." The green eyed headache said from beside me.I laughed. Really hard.
And I couldn't stop.
I clutched my stomach for support but that didn't work as I continued to chuckle like a madman.
I laughed for a good 5 minutes, and by the time I actually finished with a fit of giggles, I saw from the corner of my eye, the boy crack a smile. Maybe this kid wasn't so bad after all.
I held my backpack closer to my shoulders as I finished laughing completely.
Then, I began walking.
I had a few cuts and bruises from the bus crash but I was okay to walk and that's what I'll do to Seattle or the nearest town with a bus station.
I picked up my pace and had made it a few yards before I noticed my 'savior' was following me.
I abruptly stopped to yell at the moron," What the hell are you doing?"
He shrugged,"Walking." He stated and continued in my direction.
"Why?" I asked.
"I want to get away from the crash, same as you." He said and finally caught up to me.
I groaned and turned from him a began walking straight on the seemly abandoned road again.
"Hey, wait up!" He shouted. I stopped once again.
I put my pointer finger and thumb to bridge and rubbed it. Thinking of how to get out of this web I had caught myself in.
He caught up to me and turned in my direction, and brushed his hand on his sweatpants before he held out it for a gesture I believe to be called a hand shake. I put my hand in his and he roughly shook it up and down before finally releasing my limb. I wasn't happy about it but I maybe needed some company on the long journey to the next town and he was probably the only one of us who knew where to go.
"I'm Aaron" he told me and gave me a honest grin.
"That's nice" I responded trying to be not rude.
He looked at me strangely before saying ,"No, now you are suppose to tell me your name". I started walking again with Aaron following close behind, still pestering me.
"I don't have one." I said.
"Of course you do", Aaron said, "Everyone has a name."
"Not me."
"Yes, you do."
"No I don't"
"Yes"
"No."
"Yes." He persisted.
"No! I don't want to remember my name!" I said harshly to him, it was only the first ten minutes and I was already pissed at him.
"Just because you can't or don't want to remember your name, doesn't mean you don't have one." He stated, "Now," He continued "What can I call you?".
I thought for a moment to come up with a acceptable name.
"Call me Jordan" I finally told Aaron.
"Nice name, Jordan." He said.
I rolled my eyes at him, and sped up my walking pace. He did so as well.
"How'd you find me?", I suddenly asked.
"It was pretty easy actually," he told me, "You dropped your motel key at my house while you were fleeing. So I just went to the motel that was on the key and when I saw you there, followed you to the bus station and on the bus to Seattle."
