After Tal, Scott and I discovered that a Chimera was responsible for attacking and for what was happening my dad, he started to get better and I literally passed out in the room with him. Tal stayed with me the whole time, she finally fully healed from the wound Theo gave her and everything was starting to get easier. Tal went to grab food for my father in the hospital cafeteria while I was on my father's laptop to check our bank account to see how much the damage the visit was going to hit us. My father groaned he was now waking up, I didn't remove my eyes from the screen but I could sense that he was looking over to see me on his computer next to him.
"Stiles? What are you doing with my laptop?" he asked his voice sounded raspy and dry I moved my eyes for a moment to look at him.
"Checking to see how much we have...your insurance isn't going to cover all the expenses." I mumbled though I knew he heard exactly what I said, the page with our account was downloading and I held my breath.
"Stiles...you shouldn't have to worry about this..." he replied touching my arm with his hand, how could I not worry about it? My MRI was overdue and now this hospital bill was estimated to be at least over $10,000.
"How can I not worry about this? We still haven't paid for my MRI scans dad, the payment is still overdue and we both know that we are drowning in debt." I sighed the page fully downloaded I turned my gaze back to the screen and my eyes went wide.
"I will figure everything out Stiles, I want you to just focus on other things that are a lot more important." he answered trying to reach for the computer though I fidgeted away from his grasp and turned the screen to show him what I was looking at.
"Dad...did you get an advance?" I asked he looked at me, his eyes fell to the screen and then he just shook his head no to me. My eyes returned to the computer screen, my MRI was already paid for and the remaining amount was in bold; $500,000. Before I could say anything there was a knock on the door, Tal popped her head into the room holding a tray of food in her hands.
"Am I interrupting something?" she wondered moving into the room placing the tray of food onto the table when I slammed the computer screen closed and placed it onto the chair I was sitting in.
"No not at all...hey Tal umm can do me a favor and sit with my dad for a minute. I'm going to make a phone call real fast." I asked she nodded I moved out of the room to call the bank to see if I could find anything out about the amount.
