After a few days of learning to control my new werewolf side, Scott asked me to meet up with him after school near the buses probably to check on me. Things have been a lot easier now that the contracts have been deactivated but Violet unfortunately met the wrong end of the Werejaguar. Yes I wished I could've changed her but her blood lust and vengeance fueled her more then anything else; she was too far gone. I saw Scott near the buses as I made my way to him, he looked a bit anxious and the smell of his worry was filling my new sense of smell.
"Hey Garrett...thanks for meeting me, I know Tessa told you about Violet." he began I looked at him knowing he was trying to apologize for what happened to her but frankly I didn't really want to get into that. Violet tried to kill Tessa, she nearly killed me which proved that she was too far gone even for Scott to save. "Look, I just want to be sure that you are not willing to break the pack's number one rule."
"I told you and everyone else Scott...I am done with being an assassin and killing innocent people. But I will use my skills and my new abilities to protect Tessa and help you in any way I can. I promise you." I exclaimed to him keeping my tone down so we weren't overheard by anyone. Looking behind him I saw Tessa talking with Stiles and Lydia outside of entrance.
"Well you have already proved yourself to me and Tessa now you just need to prove yourself to the rest. Welcome to the pack." Scott smiled holding out his hand and I took it without a second thought. I gave it a small shake before releasing it and I watched him turn to his friends and head that way passing Tessa who was moving towards me.

"Everything okay?" she asked giving me a small smile, her brown hair blew slightly in the wind and her blue eyes brightened towards me.
"Perfectly fine..." I answered wrapping my arm around her shoulders as we began to walk the opposite way from the others.

"The pack is a bit worried to have an ex assassin turned Beta werewolf on our side but they trust me to believe that you have changed. Just don't disappoint me or I'll have to kick that little werewolf ass." she exclaimed I chuckled thinking of Tessa kicking my butt but frankly I shouldn't put it past her.
"Don't worry...I won't disappoint you..." I smiled pulling her close to me and caressed her cheek with my one hand. She wrapped both of her arms around my neck and I slowly pressed my lips onto hers. The kiss was light and warm except now everything was heightened so I could feel more then just the kiss. Breaking away I looked at her again and I saw she was a bit nervous. "What's wrong?"

"You really think the pack is the only one you had to worry about? Did you forget about my family? My older brother is the next one you got to convince, trust me when I say calling him overprotective is being nice." she reminded I swallowed a bit sharply forgetting that Tessa's older brother was not only a werewolf but someone you didn't want to get on his bad side. "Don't worry...he's not gonna hurt you...much."
"Well...let's get that over with then." I answered Tessa's face was a bit stunned but I gave her a reassuring smile, she knew that I was willing to do anything to protect her even if it means I had to be the punching bag for her brother.
"Alright...let's go." she smiled taking my hand into hers and we both headed to the Loft to start a new chapter in my life. A life with new friends, new foes and a love worth fighting for.
