Hayden's pov
She was Driving Danni?! I looked at her in shock. I had not expected that. I mean she was always so open about everything else, why did she feel the need to hide this from everyone.
"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked, feeling hurt.
"My parents don't approve of the whole mechanic thing. My clients are all people that cant tell on me because what your doing is illegal. You however have a personal connection with my parents and I was scared that if I told you you would tell them. If they ever found out I'd loose everything." She said, pleading with her eyes.
"So you don't trust me." I said, I was feeling worse by the second.
"You ripped my heart out two days ago and now your asking me if I trust you. It doesn't work both ways. Before, I was seriously thinking about telling you, but then the kiss and you saying it meant nothing made me really reconsider telling you. You have no idea what my parents would do to me if they found out." She said exasperatedly.
I moved my hand, remembering that blood was pouring out of my head. She sighed, looking at my head. She whitened slightly, but took a steadying breath. "Come and I'll clean your head up." She said, walking towards the unisex bathroom. She ditched her heels, walking in her bare feet. I followed after her, thinking over everything she had said. Had I really hurt her that much when I said the kiss meant nothing? Of course the kiss meant something to me, but I had to try and keep my distance for her own safety. Now, however, I wasn't so sure if I could fight it anymore.
She pulled out the first aid kit that was located under the sink and began cleaning my wound. I hissed in pain as the cold alcohol wipe made contact with my skin and automatically I flinched.
"Sorry," She said, trying to clean it gentler.
"So, how long have you been in the business?" I asked, trying to make conversation.
"Two years. But I only started on bikes last season." She said.
"I had no idea that you were into all of this, I'm sorry -" I said, but she cut me off.
"Please don't say your sorry, it was my choice to keep it from you so if anyone should be apologising its me." She said.
That made me think. "If you didn't cut the breaks, then who did?" I asked. The same question must have been playing on her mind because she gave a concerned frown before answering. "I don't know, only two other people have been in my garage. Dan and Jared." She said.
That caught my attention. "Wait, Dan knew?!" I asked in outrage.
She nodded. "When your bike was first dropped off to me, I had no idea that it was yours. Dan came to pick it up and realises who I was. I asked him to keep quiet about it, especially because I didn't know before if my parents were coming home or when." She explained.
I nodded my head. It made sense, kinda.
"Look, I should have never used the kiss thing against you. Its not your fault you don't feel the same way." She apologised.
In that moment I knew exactly what I wanted. I wanted Danni and I wanted her to be mine and only mine. I crashed my lips against hers, feeling the sparks all over again. She gave a moan before wrapping her arms around my neck and deepening the kiss. I put my hands on her waist, pulling her as close as possible to me. Her hands were soon in my hair, pulling gently against it. I moved my lips down to her neck, kissing gently til I found her sweet spot. When ky lips touched the base of her throat she giggled and moaned. I continued kissing her as her hands rested on my growing bulge in my jeans.
We had to stop now or it never would.
I pulled away, trying to summon up the courage to ask. "Danni. Will you go out with me?" I asked.
She smiled, and I realised that she was crying. "Yes!" She said, pressing her lips against mine again.
Danni's pov
When we got home, Jared disappeared out with a few friends and Hayden and me had the house to ourselves. I didn't know what was going to happen tonight.
I went up stairs to change into something more comfortable and when I came back downstairs he was putting on a dvd and there were lots of candy and stuff out.
I sat down and he sat down beside me, wrapping me in a hug. I rested my head against his chest and I looked up, he looked down towards me, pecking me on the lips as the film began. This wad perfect. This was what I wanted.
