Nadia's pov
I took a deep breath, looking back over at my brother and his girlfriend. They both looked so helpless and no matter what I was determined to get my unborn niece of nephew out of here. I knocked on the door and help my breath. I looked at the attractive boy in my peripheral vision. Trent, I think that was what he said his name was. He was standing beside me, close enough in that he would be hidden when the door swung open.
Just as expected Parker came to the door.
Everything that had happened came flooding back. I remembered the very first time I had met him. He had seemed so dangerous, but there was something about that danger that was appealing to me. I was only seventeen when we met, two years older than Hayden. In the beginning it was just some harmless flirting, but soon I wanted more than that and I could tell from his eyes.... Or maybe that was just what I wanted to see, but I thought he wanted me too. When we got together, it was perfect. Amazing, everything I could have ever hoped for. But quickly it began to get worse. He came home drunk every night and I was encouraged not to talk to my parents. I just thought it was normal. Eventually he had managed to do just what hr had set out to. On the seventh of September 2010 my mother told me that she wanted nothing to do with me. That I was a disgrace to her. Parker had me completely isolated. And then the beatings began. It started with small things like giving me a dead arm every now and then, but it steadily got worse. Even three years on I can still recall every detail of the very first beating. He had come home absolutely wasted and I was sitting patiently in the kitchen with his dinner. He stumbled through and looked at me. "Who the fuck were you having over?" He slurred, stumbling towards me. I tried to ignore the strong stench of alcohol that was radiating of his breath. The night Hayden had stayed was the worse, and I was always thankful to him for saving my life. Parker had come home drunk as usual when he saw Hayden's bag lying in the corner.
"Who the fuck is here?" He spat at me, grabbing me by the throat. I knew that I was going to die, but you know when everyone says you see your life flash before your eyes? Its not like that, you don't see the events of your life, you see the people that made an impact. I saw my mother, my father and Hayden. He was the only reason I continued to fight for my life, because if I died in that house so did he. I tried to keep my screaming to a minimum, put it was no use, Hayden heard anyway. He was standing at the door, looking on at the scene, when his face changed into one of fury. He launched himself at Parker, grabbing the first thing he could find which was the knife from the kitchen sink. He managed to catch Parker's face with the knife, before loosing his grip. He didn't give up though, continuing to throw punch after punch at Parker. When Parker was unconscious, I managed to call out my brothers pain. I had been so preoccupied with making sure my brother was okay that I didn't register the pain. It came, and it came hard. It was painful, I could feel the repeating sharp pain running across my torso and there was blood pouring from my head. I tried moving, realising that my leg was broken.
Even now, three years on the nightmares were just as bad as that very first day.
Parker glared at me when he saw me. "What do you want?" He asked.
"I have to know, do you feel the same way? About me, about us? I still love you." I lied.
He looked surprised, unsure how to react. I took a step closer to him, pacing myself. I placed a hand on his neck, running my hand down his scar. "Do you love me too?" I asked him, swallowing hard.
That's when Trent attacked, launching himself at Parker.
Danni's pov
I watched the whole scenario okay our and I remembered the last fight with Parker. I raided around in Hayden's jacket. I found what I was looking for, the silver knife. I picked it up, throwing it across the room and watching as it sunk into Parker's chest. He stumbled back, dropping what I saw was a gun. The gun landed on the floor and Nadia picked it up.
She aimed it at Parker.
"I do still love you." Parker said softly to her.
"He's playing games with you." I tried to reason with her.
"How would she know how I feel?" He asked her sceptically.
Nadia looked at me and I saw and apologetic look in her face. No she couldn't. She lowered the gun, taking a step closer to him. Just when I thought we had lost everything, she raised it again, this time the barrel was flush against his chest.
"I lied." She said to him with a smirk. "I don't love you. You disgust me. Enjoy hell." and with that she pulled the trigger.
The gun fired and the silence hung in the air. I ran over to Hayden who was still unconcious and checked his wrist. "Call 911, his pulse is deteriorating." I said, rolling him over and looking closely at his wound. It wasn't too dep, ut it was still bleeding. I ripped the bottom of my t-shirt, using it to try and stop the bleeding.
"Let me do that." Daisy said, taking over from me.
"But-" I began.
"My sister is a doctor." Trent explained.
I nodded, letting Daisy take over. She walked closer, carrying a first aid kit and began stitching the wound on Hayden's head back up.
"Lets get you to a hospital." Nadia said, turning to look at me and offering me a hand. "I want to make sure my future niece of nephew is okay." She said. I took her hand, standing up and followed her down the stairs. She surprised me by jumping on the back of my bike. She really was her brother's sister. I climbed on carefully behind her and she took off in the direction of the hospital.

I was rushed through and taken for an ultra sound. The doctor placed a cold liquid on my stomach and began looking around. He smiled at me.
"Can you see that?" He asked.
I listened closely it looked like. "Two fetuses." The doctor confirmed.
"I'm having twins?!" I asked.
"Yes you are. Your only five weeks so they are not big enough to tell the sex yet. Does the father know?" He asked.
"Not yet, but this is his sister." I said, smiling up at Nadia.
"That's me." She said.
Hayden's pov
When I came round a girl I didn't recognise was standing over mr and sitting next to me was Trent. "Are you alright man?" He asked.
"Where is Parker?" I asked.
He smiled. "Dead. Don't worry we have taken care of it." He explained.
"Where is Danni, is the baby okay?" I asked in a panicked voice.
"The babies are fine." I heard a voice say and I saw Danniella leaning against the door. "But how do you know?" She asked.
"You left the test in your jacket pocket." I explained, trying to sit up. "And did you say babies?" I asked.
She nodded. "Twins. But I can have an abortion if you -"
I cut her off. "No, don't even think about that. These are our children and I'm going to love them as much as I love you." I said.
She nodded with a smile.
"I love you too."
