Danni's pov
I was feeling very off. I don't know what it was but I knew there had been some change in me since that night with Hayden. We had made love three times since then and each time had been better than the first. I had no idea what it was, but it was really strange.
I sighed as I sat down, checking the time on my cell and then I froze.
Today was the seventh. My period had been on the same day every month since I was twelve and today I hadn't started. It couldn't be possible, right? It just couldn't be. I sat up, looking at Hayden who was sitting in front of me on his bike. What was he going to think? Would he want me if he found out?
"Stop the bike." I said.
"What?" He asked.
"Stop the bike!" I said.
He pulled the bike over and I climbed off, putting my hand on my stomach. It was rock solid. Could I really have a child growing in there? Was I ready to be a mom? All these questions kept running through my head and I had no idea how I was going to cope.
I walked down the sidewalk and into the shop.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"Nothing." I said, forcing a smile, " I'm just going to use the restroom in the shop, I'll be back in a moment." I said. I hated lying to him. But I had to be sure. I had no idea what I was going to do, or how he was going to react.
I didn't wait for him to reply as I walked into the shop and straight to the pharmaceutical section and picking up two pregnancy tests. I made my way to the counter and payed for them.
"Have you got a bathroom?" I asked.
He shook his head. I sighed, placing both of them into the inside pocket of my leather jacket and buying a packet of cigarettes. Normally I wasn't one to smoke, but dyer times call for dyer circumstances. I made my way outside and sparked up, inhaling the unfamiliar taste. I managed to stifle a cough the first time and I inhaled again.
Hayden was already sitting with a cigarette when I walked out and he looked at me in surprise. "When did you start smoking?" He asked.
"Since now, got a problem with that?!" I snapped. I immediately regretted it when I sae the look of pain and hurt in his face. "Look, I'm sorry. I don't know what it is, I'm just feeling a little off lately." I apologised.
"Are you okay?" He asked worriedly.
"I think so." I said, smiling and inhaling again.
When I was finished, we continued to drive down to the bike track. When we pulled in and Hayden began preparing for his race, I made my usual rounds with all my clients before heading to the bathroom. I shut the door behind me, locking it and I sat down. I pulled the test out, opening the box and I looked at it.
"Please don't let me be pregnant. Please..." I said.
I placed the stick between my legs and I peed on it. Two minutes, I have to wait to fucking see what I wanted to see.
The time passed slowly and every second felt like an hour. When eventually two minutes was up, I looked at it.
It was...
Hayden's pov
I was really worried and scared. What was wrong with Danni? I sighed and looked at my bike. Danni had done a great job again on my bike and when I started the engine it sounded like a dream. Danni walked over, a smile on her face and handed me her leather jacket.
She bent down carefully and began adding the finishing touches to my bike. Her cell started ringing and she excused herself to answer it.
She can back a second later and her face was pale.
"what's wrong?" I asked.
She handed me her cell.
Well, well, well. I hope your enjoying your time with your lover boy, but just remember it will be short lived. I'm going to make you look worse than Nadia. And then, I'm going to get her.
Parker.
I looked up at her. "From now, you go nowhere without someone." I said, walking off in anger and phoning my sister.
"Nadia?" I asked when it answered.
"Wrong." A male voice said.
"Parker, I swear to God if you touch a fucking hair on her head." I threatened.
"You'll what?" He taunted.
"Parker!" I screamed.
But the line went dead.

My cell started ringing and I realised that it was an unknown number. "Hello?" I said.
"Hello Danniella, its nice to speak to you again." A familiar voice said.
"What do you want?" I asked, placing a hand on the bike I was working on to steady myself.
"Its simple. I want to take everything from Hayden, including his precious little family."
"How do you know?" I asked.
"I know everything about you. It didn't surprise me that it hadn't taken much to seduce him with that lengerie you bought." He said.
"Why are you calling me?" I asked.
"Its simple, I'm going to make you an offer. You give yourself to me, Hayden lives and you never hear from me again. You don't, and I kill Hayden, and then I'll kill you."
I swallowed.
"So what's it gonna be?"
I didn't have to think, I already knew. "Where do I meet you?"
"How about at your home. Oh and don't tell Hayden, or I'll have to kill you both."
