Job hunting! Anything that will help me pay for college. I've already handed in applications for McDonalds, Taco Bueno, Taco Bell, Wendy's, Hobby Lobby, Los Cabos, Target, I wont be picky at this point. I applied at Bath and Bodyworks, but i'm not 18 yet, so they revoked my application. But hey, at least i walked out of there smelling fucking amazing. Could have been worse I guess.
In other news, seriously considering the Navy right now. It would probably be the only 4 years when my life will be of any value. I want to work in mass communications; its mostly journalism and information gathering for military purposes; this can and may include being a combat cameraman, but from what i read on their website, its mostly mass media within and outside of the navy. Sounds like something i would do well with.
Plus, there are a TON of military benefits; the GI bill alone could pay for most of college after i get out.
I plan on talking with a recruiter sometime this week. Dad was in the navy, he said he'd go with me to see the recruiter. I was a little bit worried about how mom would react to it, she's the one who told my brother how she hoped that he would never be chosen from the draft to fight. I wouldn't either; he's too much of a pacifist. "The Good sibling". She seems fine with it though, after dad talked with her.
Life decisions. Gotta get through it somehow.
