 Nicole's POV

I hate sleepovers. That's what where I was now, with the world's most irritating girls in the world.

Discussing about some weird boy crush. It was about 8:30 pm.

"You should ask him out!" Jess exclaimed.

"No way!" Courtney said

"Yes way. Won't they be the cutest couple in the whole, Nicole?"

"Huh? Yeah totally," I said hearing my name.

"Ask. Him. Now."

"Fine, Fine! I will." Courtney took her phone and went out in the balcony. That was the first time I had heard silence.

But the golden moment was gone as soon as it had come.

"I have a confession to make," Jess said, biting her lip.

"What?"

"I have this weird crush on your brother since fifth grade."

"What?! Are you freaking crazy! He already has a mate!"

"But that doesn't make him any less hotter." She shrugged, doubling my anger. And I again began to regret why I came here. I'll give you the story.

The town of Darthville is mainly populated by werewolves, not extraordinary? I am one too, along with Jess and Courtney. Yeah, keep your mouths hanging. So Jess's father is the alpha, that's why I have to stay here and "socialize". My family is my whole world, my parents and my brother, Nathan. I only have one good friend that I hang out with, Tyler. I usually stay at home and enjoy with my family. I know, you'll be thinking me as a freak, but you don't need friends when you have an awesome family as mine.

Mom and Dad even fought in such a comic way that Nate and I used to stop and watch them fight. We would always end up with an ache in our stomachs and eyes laced with happy tears because of all that laughing. Then they would scold the sh*t out of us to think that this is funny, but we'd laugh anyway. After Sasha, Nate's mate joined the family, the fun lessened a bit but never died. The truth is, i loved to make friens, but none of them matched the mark that Tyler and my family had set. That's why my parents had sent me here today, to give a chance to the outside world too, after a very long time.........

Courtney came in and squealed,"He said he'll think about it!" And then both the girls started jumping up and down the bed crazily while I sat and wondered: What's so great about,'I'll think about it?'  I prayed to God silently: Dear God, no offense, but I think you need to start a repair centre somewhere up there, 'cause some people are seriously messed up.

"I know, we should give ourselves a makeover!" Courtney exclaimed.

"Yeah, Nicole will be the first one, she hasn't even spoken a thing," Jess stated

"No, I don't usually do this stuff," I protested. But after a thousand such protests, Jess and Courtney hauled me into a chair in front of the dresser and assembled all stuff in front of the mirror. Here comes doomsday. But before Jess could apply any of that stupid compact powder Courtney screamed," Oh my God! Fire!" We first looked outside the window to see it. And Courtney wasn't wrong. We all rushed downstairs and out to the porch.

There was a group of vandalists standing around a bonfire.Grr-eat. They all looked a bit drunk and were werewolves too. Ten points to my super senses. One of them, with brown hair and blue eyes began, "Alright people, I hereby anounce war against your pack. And everybody, who is guilty will die, just you know, yeah, we're the same rogues. I suggest the innocent to stay away or you'll pay for something you didn't cause and the guilty not to run, we have wolves assigned at the outposts."

"What's he talking about?" I asked.

"I think he's crazy, but so hot!" Jess said and I rolled my eyes.

"And why should we believe you?For all that matters, the police is gonna tow your drunk asses after a few minutes," a man said. Some people near him snickered. The rogue looked around and his eyes met mine.

And the sparks fly...

Oh, baby, smile...

And the sparks fly...

Taylor Swift? I am such a goner. He smiled at us and then walked towards us."OMG! Am I dreaming,"Jess said. Meanwhile the hot guy stood in front of me, just a finger away, making my heartbeat quicken.

"This means war," he said and kissed me. It was a passionate one but so blury, I totally forgot where I was, who I was. The only thing I remember was my wolf rejoicing, she was his now. She wanted to be his now. Meanwhile I, I was over the edge. His grip on me began to loosen and so did the fury of his lips. He ended the kiss and then began to laugh. What the hell?! My wolf was as confused as I was. The crazy rogue, that's what I'll call him now, glided down the porch steps and back to his friends who high-fived him. My temper shot up suddenly, so much that I traced his steps half-consciously. I heard Jess yell at me but I completely ignored her.

His friends saw me coming towards him and said something. The crazy rogue turned around and a smirk greeted me. Without further ado, I kicked him in his gut and his friends went 'oohh'. But it was like he was hardly affected, I was sure of it when he pulled me to him and whispered,"Babe, you are quite something. But we'll see that today."

The pack house was going nuts, when I entered. I spotted my Mom and dragged her away from the crowd. I told my Mom all of this, but it seemed as if her mind was somewhere else. I didn't blame her, but there was no need to be that scared, it could be an empty threat.

"Mom, what's going on? Why is everyone taking that crazy rogue's empty threat so seriously?" I asked after a while.

"Sweetheart, there are some reasons. We have to be safe," she replied.

"Safe? They're making fourteen year olds fight!" I scoffed.

"I  was against this too but there's nothing we can do."

"And who was he referring to the guilty people?"

My Mom's face paled."Uh, nothing jus-"

"Olivia, Nicole, there you are." My Dad appeared with my brother Nathan. Another reason why I hadn't told them about the crazy rogue was because they would rip his head off. I hadn't got a boyfriend because apparently nobody had the guts to ask "Nathan Price's sister" out.

"Nicole I want you to sign this," My Dad said. He handed me a printed paper and a pen. I studied the paper. It was my parents will.

"Dad, it's not like you're gonna die today or something, right?" I asked

"Um, sweetheart, how to explain this. There are about five hundred of them and only three hundred of us." I looked at his crestfallen face.

"B-but that doesn't mean that-that we're not better." I was about to cry.

"You know what? You're right. But just sign it."

"Okay."

I looked at the will again. On the first page, it already had Nate's signature. And on the second page it had the list of things i'd inherit. I held back a sob when I saw Mom's saphire ring, a family heirloom, under my name. But somehow i signed it and handed it back to him.

"Nothing will happen to any of us. Come here now," Mom said and we had a family hug.

"Nate you go out, they needed you. And Olivia, I have to talk to you," Dad said and they all disappeared into the crowd again. They're going to die, I thought. Just like everything else around me. And the worst of my fears started circling in my head, that I would be the only  one to last. I locked myself in a random room. I sighed in relief to find some time alone to think and catch a breath.

No baby, you are never alone,' a voice said in my head.
