Nicole's POV
The Pizza Night, the oldest tradition of the Price family, except the Thanksgiving, during which all my Uncles and Aunts joined us too. This tradition was older as Thanksgiving itself and honestly, I considered Pizza Night better. The Noisy And Fake Bunch (what I call my "relatives") don't attend it. Me and my brother make sure of it. By the way, we have Pizza Night at any one Saturday of each month and I loved it so much, I didn't realize it that night that it was going to be my last one ever, though.
"Nathan Sebastian Price! Get your legs off that expensive coffee table!" My Mom's voice was barely heard over the T.V. We were all watching How I Met Your Mother together.
"Nathan! Are you deaf?!"
"Geez Mom, the coffee table won't exactly break, but all the glasses would if you keep shouting like that," Nate replied. "See?" He banged his legs on the table loudly a few times just to show he was right while I tried to stop him."Nate stop it! The table's gonna break for sure now!"
And before anybody else could say a word the whole coffee table came down with a loud crash. Me and Dad started laughing crazily. "Shit!" Nate muttered and bit his tongue. "Oh My God! My coffee table!" Mum said with a sad voice, then her eyes grew stormy. "Nathan Sebastian Price, you are going to buy me this exact coffee table with your salary. Every cent of it! And dare you ever take any money from your father."
"Oh Mom, I am really hurt that you think so low of me," Nathan said and put a hand on his chest mockingly and sniffed back an imaginary tear as I snickered.
"You are twenty three years old, have a mate, have a job, and yet I feel like I'm talking to a thirteen year old! Nathan, be a bit serious now, how are you going to teach your kids good manners!"
"Woah mom, we're not even married yet and have never thought about the kids." His eyes drifted to Sasha who was clearly blushing while I stiffled a laugh.
"That's not funny, Nicole," Sasha said. i rolled my eyes at her. Here we go again.
"Nate, tell your sister to not roll eyes at me, it's infuriating," she said in her same bitchy tone.
"Nate, Nicole and Sasha, behave as you're supposed to, given your age. I'm tired of explaining this again and again." She gave a sigh and sat on the sofa while i shot her a look saying: I didn't do anything!
Just then the doorbell rang and I jumped with joy and exclaimed, "That must be the pizza! I'll get it." I took grabbed my purse and sprinted to the door. I opened it to see a boy, about eighteen leaning on the wall with a cool smirk. "Hey, here's your pizza," he handed me the boxes and continued," it's $20 and 15 cents." His eyes went up and down my frame. What a douche!
"Thanks. Just gimme a minute." I put the boxes on the nearby rack and fished for change. I handed him the bill. His expression turned into a thoughtful one as he studied my face.” You’re Nicole, right?"
"Um, yeah, how do you know?"
"Well, you're too innocent for this sinful place."
Before I could say, "Excuse me?”, he climbed down my porch and jogged across the road. He began talking to a guy on a bike, who definitely looked like a druggie. I closed the door behind me but peeped from the window. They were talking some business, it was written on their faces. The pizza boy, or whoever he was, kept pointing at our house. Then both of them stopped talking and together glanced at me. The pizza guy climbed on the druggie's bike after muttering something and they sped of. What was that about?
