Canterlot High

Chapter 1

Just to tell everybody, this is my first story in Wattpad... Hope you people enjoy it!

This was weird. It's the largest building I have ever seen. No such thing existed where I came from. I made my way up the steps and into the school. I took in my surroundings. Lockers were lined up against the walls of the wide corridor. The corridor was so long that I could not see the end.

I walked past a group of people using their phones. They were so absorbed in their phones that they did not notice me. I doubt they even know I'm new. I reached a door with a sign above with the words 'General Office'. I opened the door quietly. A lady behind the counter looked up from her computer and said, "You must be Miss Dash."

I nodded. The lady stood. She began searching through some folders and I waited for at least 5 minutes before she finally pulled one out. "Here is the things you would need in this school. These are maps of the school. If you need any help, just find me or ask around. But I must warn you not to get into bad company."

I took the papers, thanked her and got out of the office. I walked down the corridor, finding my locker. I soon did and opened it. A timetable was stuck to the door and I wondered who stuck it there. I put some books in and closed the locker door. As I turned, I bumped into someone else. She had red and yellow hair and she wore a leather jacket over a pink shirt and she also wore a mainly orange skirt.

"S...sorry..." I started.

"Huh!" She said. "Blue skin and rainbow coloured hair? Seriously? I never knew Canterlot High invited such students in. Anywho, I am Sunset Shimmer. They are Snips and Snails. " She pointed to two boys behind her. "And you are...? Rainbow Hair?"

"Rainbow Dash," I corrected, holding my chin high.

Sunset Shimmer's eyes narrowed. "Dash? Tell me how that suits you."

"Um... I'm a really fast runner."

"Is it? Been in any races?"

"Never got the chance."

"I think we can become good friends."

That was sudden. She just insulted me! She thinks I want to be good friends with her? Seriously? But all I managed to say was a lame "Really?"

"So...you talking to the new girl?" a new voice piped up.

Sunset Shimmer rolled her eyes. I looked over her shoulder and saw a girl dressed in a long sleeved white shirt with part of the sleeves green and wearing a demin skirt. A hat was also set upon her head.

"What are you doing here, country girl?" Sunset Shimmer muttered.

"I wanted to talk to the new girl."

Sunset Shimmer glared at the girl before leaving. The girl took a step forward and held out her hand. "I'm Applejack," she introduced herself.

I shook her hand. "I'm Rainbow Dash."

"Suits you," she commented.

"Thanks!" I answer.

"Come on! There's some people I want to introduce you to!"
