Twilight's POV

Flash Sentry. No. I can't. Why did I have to start liking him? But even if I didn't like him, I wouldn't want to kill him or hurt him. Why did it have to be him?

I was in a dilemma. Hurt or kill Flash Sentry to get to Sunset Shimmer or let Sunset Shimmer take over the school. Or Equestria.

I knew, deep in my heart that the first choice was the best. Perhaps I won't benefit. But that's only me. If I chose the second choice, the whole world won't benefit.

I'm sorry Flash, I thought. I don't want this. But it is for the best.

I closed my eyes, before opening them and shouting to Sunset Shimmer, "I will never let you win, whether I have to sacrifice myself or not."

A tear slid down my cheek as I choked out, "Even if I have to sacrifice Flash Sentry." I took a deep breath, feeling more tears gather in my eyes, threatening to overspill. "For the sake of the world. I know he'll understand."

Sunset Shimmer let out an evil laugh, "What if he doesn't understand? If in his subconscious mind, he's screaming at you for your cruel betrayal."

"Don't listen to her Twilight! She's trying to play with your mind," Rarity whispered from beside me.

I took a very deep breath, "I know he would understand. He isn't the kind of person who would want himself to be spared and the rest of the world fall into chaos. You thought you could destroy friendship but now, friendship will destroy you!"

My friends and I held hands, before forming a heart in the air. I could feel electricity running through our hands, making me feel strong, certain that we will defeat her.
