Chapter 4

Rainbow Dash's P.O.V.

A month has passed since I first stepped into this school. I managed to become the captain of the softball team and the girls soccer team. Applejack was having a big sale this weekend and she had requested I come to her big sale with the rest of the softball team. I had agreed.

Right now, I had just received a text from Applejack saying her big sale had been moved to Sunday instead of Saturday. I notified the other softball players.

It was Sunday and I led the softball players to the location of the big sale and stood rooted to the ground when I saw there was nothing, just a man sweeping.

"Um...hi..."

"Why hello! Thankfully the crowd's gone. Couldn't sweep a thing yesterday with that big sale. At least they didn't leave a big mess behind," the man said.

Yesterday? The big sale was YESTERDAY? Why did Applejack cancel on me? Did she not like me anymore? Perhaps she found it too rude to just tell me not to come and instead tell me it was on a different day. I turned to face the softball players. "Well, seems like we got cancelled on, let's go home."

The softball players started grumbling. But they all went home anyway. I trudged back to the school hostel. I couldn't face the fact that Applejack would cancel on me.

Applejack's P.O.V.

I don't understand. Why didn't Rainbow Dash come to the big sale two days ago? She had promised she would come. Not one of the softball players had come either. That was kinda rude.

Well, Rainbow Dash has just made herself the captain of breaking promises. The big sale had went fine anyway, even without the softball players. Much was sold and I felt happy enough. But I still couldn't figure why Rainbow Dash hadn't come. The one thought on my mind was - Rainbow Dash didn't like me.

1 week later

Fluttershy's P.O.V.

Today was a BIG day. The animals were in their respective cages. People were going around looking at the animals. Some had been sold already. I had managed to get enough volunteers to help out in the animal sale. Suddenly, it sounded like something exploded and the sky was lit by fireworks. The animals went frantic and cages tumbled to the ground.

Some animals escaped out of their cages into the wild and others pounced on the people walking around. I turned. "Pinkie!" I said.

Pinkie Pie didn't seem to hear. "Aren't the fireworks brilliant?" she said.

"No they aren't!" I snapped. Pinkie still didn't seem to hear. "I bought them for like ten dollars. That's quite cheap for fireworks. I guess that man selling them was-"

"PINKIE PIE!!!!!" I shouted. This time, she did hear and she looked at me questioningly. "WHY DID YOU BRING FIREWORKS WHEN I TOLD YOU NOT TO BRING ANYTHING THAT MAKES LOUD NOISES WHICH WOULD FRIGHTEN THE ANIMALS???!!!"  It was the first time I had shouted at a friend.

"But...you sent me..."

I didn't let her finish. I turned and began picking up the cages and trying to catch the animals. That had been the last straw. I had enough of Pinkie's obsession over parties for everything. I had told her and she still hadn't listened!

I finished cleaning up after what seemed like eternity. I turned. Pinkie Pie was gone and only the volunteers and I were left. After we packed up, we made our way home.

1 week later

Rarity's P.O.V.

I just mailed Pinkie Pie a mail stating:

Pinkie Pie,

Hi! Would you need help to decorate the hall for the party for the baseball team's prize ceremony? Please answer me ASAP.

Rarity

I had an immediate reply which said:

Rarity

Thanks for volunteering but I already have plenty of volunteers and if there are too many people, we would start tripping over each other and it would be a DISASTER.

Pinkie Pie

That was the fifth time I had received this mail from Pinkie Pie. The first four, I had discovered Pinkie had actually done everything by herself. This time, that better not be the case. 

The next day I went to school, I took a peep into the school hall and saw it decorated with streamers and balloons. Pinkie Pie was all alone. I strode into the hall. "You and the volunteers did a pretty good job," I commented.

"Volunteers? When did I have any volunteers? I did it myself. But I could have used some volunteers help."

"THEN WHY DIDN'T YOU ACCEPT ME VOLUNTEERING?"

"I didn't know you volunteered."

"Don't act innocent, Pinkie Pie. Goodbye."

"Wait-"

I walked off before she could continue. I was outraged. She probably didn't like me anymore and that's why she didn't accept me volunteering. Since she didn't like me, I won't like her.

Pinkie Pie's P.O.V.

I watched Rarity walk out of the school hall. When had she ever volunteered to help? This incident was like the one that happened with Fluttershy. She told me to bring fireworks and stuff and in the end, she shouts at me for bringing them.

My shoulders sagged. I hope this same kind of incident won't happen with Applejack and Rainbow Dash. It appeared that Fluttershy and Rarity were both angry at me now. I wonder what would happen to our bond.
