Twilight's P.O.V.
We chased after Snails and Snips. They proved quite good runners. Spike barked continuously, struggling in the iron grip of Snips.
"Let go!" He growled.
Snips let g of him in shock. "HE CAN TALK????" he screamed.
"SNIPS!!!!! Didn't you hear him yell for Twilight's help just now!? You idiot!" Snails roared.
Spike ran back to me and I scooped him back into my arms.
"YOU JUST RUINED OUR WHOLE PLAN YOU DUMB IDIOT!!!!!! WE WERE SUPPOSED TO LEAD THEM TO SUNSET SHIMMER NOT DROP THAT DUMB DOG WHEN WE ARE NOWHERE NEAR SUNSET SHIMMER!!!!!!!!!!" Snails shouted.
"Lead us to Sunset Shimmer than," Rainbow Dash said.
"You could have been wiser so as to not reveal our whole plan in front of them!" Snips whispered loud enough for us to hear.
"Well? Where is Sunset Shimmer?" Rarity demanded as Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash took hold of their arms.
They reluctantly led us out of the school and face to face with Sunset Shimmer. She was standing beside the statue, a long hammer in her hands.
"I TOLD YOU IDIOTS TO BRING THEM TO ME INCLUDING THE DOG AND YOU FAIL ME!!!!" Sunset Shimmer yelled.
"Sunset Shimmer! Stop right now!" I shouted.
"Oh? Are you gonna stop me? No! Because you can't! Now hand over the crown! Or never see Equestria again."
I knelt down, taking the golden, shimmering crown of my head. I stared at it for a minute or so and saw my reflection, looking back at me with fear. Fear of doing the wrong thing. My friends back in Equestria wouldn't want me to give the crown. Even if it meant not seeing them ever again.
"No," I say.
"WHAT!? Equestria! Your friends! Will be lost to you forever! Don't you see what I'm gonna do?"
"Yes. But I've also seen what you've done here WITHOUT magic. I can't just give you the crown and watch this place suffer! So its a no! You are not getting this crown!"
"Too bad," she said and raised the hammer.
I surged forward and bowled her over. We tumbled to the floor. I managed to hold her down until she hit me on the head. I fell backwards and she pounced on me, held me down, hands on my throat.
"Elements..."I rasped out. "Find...elements...."
