Chapter 11

Rainbow Dash's P.O.V.

The farm was in a mess. Baskets filled with apples lined up against the barn walls had all been toppled. Some apple trees had been uprooted. I wondered what could have been so strong us to uproot apple trees?

Parts of the fence surrounding the Apple's land had dropped to the ground. but the worse part was the barn. The west wall had been pulled down and inside was a mess. There was hay all over the place and a ladder had broke into half.

There were also a few dead bodies of mice, which Fluttershy was crying over right now, and plenty of holes on the remaining walls still standing.

Not far off, Applejack was introducing Twilight Sparkle to the others. I decided to join them.

"And she is Rainbow Dash," Applejack finished just as I arrived.

"Nice to see you," Twilight Sparkle said.

I gave her the tiniest of nods.

"Applejack! Come help us pick up these apples!" Granny Smith's voice sounded.

"I'm coming!" Applejack replied before asking, "any of you free to help?"

"I would love to, Applejack. But I'm busy. I've got to design some clothes. I'll come back and help later on," Rarity said apologetically.

"Well...I really, really want to help but I've got to go take care of my animals," Fluttershy murmured.

"I can help," I offered.

"So can I!" Pinkie said, jumping up and down.

"I can too," Twilight agreed.

"Great!" Applejack led us to where the baskets of apples had fallen.

By sunset, most of the apples had been picked up, with the help of Fluttershy and Rarity as well.

"Thanks for helping me gals," Applejack said.

"No problem," Rarity said.

As we sipped some apple cider in silence, Pinkie asked. "What did all these damage anyway?"

"Demons," Applejack answered.

"DEMONS?!" The rest of us echoed in shock.

Applejack nodded. "Yup. Demons. You haven't seen them because they've only been coming to this side. That's why we wanted to move."

"Oh..."Pinkie said.

We continued to sip the cider in silence.

Fluttershy broke the silence by very softly saying, "I'm very sorry I've been so mean to you lately, Pinkie."

"Oh, tthat's alright," Pinkie answered.

"Me too," Rarity agreed.

"Well, I'm sorry that I've been treating you so badly, Applejack," I said.

"Me too, and it's ok," Appejack answered.

"Why are you all saying sorry to each other? You weren't friends?!" Twilight gasped.

We all exchanged amused glances and laughed.
