Chapter 21

3rd person POV
"Snips and snails!" Rarity gasped.
Snips snickered,"You didn't think we would let you off so easily did you?"
"But...but what's wrong with you?" Fluttershy asked timidly.
"Wrong? Nothing's wrong,"Snips answered.
"But we're powerful demons that you can never beat," Snails added.
"Hey guys," Applejack whispered so only the other five can hear. "If they're demons, does this mean Sunset Shimmer already has the crown?"
"We have to make a dash for the elements and get past Snips and Snails!" Rainbow Dash said.
"Enough talk," Snips muttered, cracking his knuckles.
Snips and Snails leaped and at the last second, the five of them rolled away.
Pinkie grabbed the box of elements and tossed it to Rarity, who was closest to the exit.
She stood up and bolted, Snips and Snails right behind her.
"Come on! We've got to help Rarity!" Pinkie said.
The five ran throught the secret passageway, only to find the wall was up again.
Fluttershy and Pinkie slammed into the wall and fell back.
"How are we going to get out of this?" Applejack thought out loud worriedly.
Rarity's POV
I ran as fast as my legs could carry me.
Snips and Snails were right behind me.
I kept running until a wall loomed up in front if me.
Too late to stop, I slammed shoulder first into the brick wall.
"Owwwww," I moaned in pain, still clutching the box.
Two figures loomed in front of me.
No, I thought. I'm trapped!
I closed my eyes as the two figures raised the fists for the final blow.
