Chapter 6

Pinkie Pie's P.O.V.

The first few hours of school passed by in a blur. The teacher kept going on about something I didn't even half understand. All that was in my mind was the cold look Fluttershy had sent me earlier today. She never looked at anyone like that. Not even Sunset Shimmer.

Soon, class ended and I left the room. I looked down moodily at the floor as I walked, finally reaching my locker. I shoved my books in before heading to the canteen to find something to eat.

Our friendship had been perfect. So perfect. And it had to end like that. As I was so deep in thought, I fell to the floor as someone pushed me aside. Fluttershy.

"Fluttershy!" I called. She didn't stop walking. I got up and ran. I managed to catch up to her and grabbed hold of her hand. She stopped. She didn't struggle.

"Look Fluttershy," I started. "I know you're mad at me but it was just an auction-"

Fluttershy glared at me with piercing turquoise eyes. "Just an auction? JUST AN AUCTION?!"I have never heard her speak so loudly before. "That 'just an auction' was the most important day of my life! And you ruined it!"

"But-"

She glared at me, her eyes were as hard as stone. I let go of her hand, backing away. I couldn't believe that I was actually scared of her.

She turned away and began walking to a table to sit down. I didn't feel hungry anymore. All our years spent together had resulted in this.

I turned and ran. I didn't care who looked at me, thought I was crazy. I didn't stop running. I pushed past Rarity who lost her balance and fell into the mud. "PINKIE PIE!!!!!!!" She shrieked.

But I didn't care. I continued running, knocking Applejack aside and pushing Rainbow Dash to the floor so roughly she flew a few metres and landed with a thud. Wait, what?

I practically screeched to a halt. Applejack was pulling Rainbow Dash up. I thought they were mad at each other? Why were they suddenly back together again?

I heard Applejack ask,"You okay?"

"Ya..."was the soft reply.

How come they could forgive each other so fast and yet Fluttershy can't forgive me?

I watched quietly as guilt seared through me. Me pushing Rainbow Dash had resulted in her with a sprained ankle.

She tried to walk properly but her ankle gave way and she fell on one knee. "Ow..." She said softly.

"You're not okay," Applejack observed.

Rainbow Dash shook herself. "I'm fine, I've had a sprained ankle a dozen times already. It's like second nature to me, ad besides, I just landed wrongly on my leg." she insisted before hobbling forward a few steps.

"That's no sprain, it's a break," Applejack objected as Rainbow Dash fell again. Applejack pulled her up before supporting her by pulling Rainbow Dash's right arm over her shoulders and putting her left arm around Rainbow Dash's waist.

As far as I remember, Rainbow Dash wasn't so...weak as to break a leg from just landing wrongly. She also never accepted help from anybody at all.

Something has changed within each of my friends. Fluttershy has shown that she can be mean, Rarity has stopped wearing fashionable clothes, Rainbow Dash was weaker and accepts help from anyone now and Applejack was much quieter than last time.

They are not the friends I thought I knew so well.
