Campfire.
MAYA'S POV
Campfire.
   All I could think about. Was campfire as I sat in Mr. Mathew's car as we were driving into the city at 6:30pm. Lucas was sitting next to me at the back of the car. Topanga sat in the front seat, Riley, Farkle, and Zay sitting in the middle row of the SUV.
"So kids, did you have fun in Texas?" Topanga asked awkwardly. Riley and I called Topanga before the flight back to NYC to inform her of the events in Texas.
"Yes, thank you Mrs. Mathews." Lucas said.
"It was very...eventful, I'll give you that." Zay said.
"We had a great time, thank you." Farkle said looking at Riley.
"Yes we did." Riley said still staring at Farkle.
"Okay kids, whatever you say." Mr. Mathews said.

Lucas put his hand on top of mine. "Campfire" he whispered.

"No funny business with Maya, Mr. Friar!" Mr. Mathews said looking in the rear view mirror.

"Okay sir." Lucas replied.

"Minkus, if you lay a hand on my daughter!" Mr. Mathews commented in a Mr. Mathews's way.

"Dad!" Riley said blushing.

"Corey! Don't embarrass the girls!" Topanga said turning up the radio.

We finally got back home to the Mathews's apartment. "I know everything that happened in Texas, everything Minkus, and Friar I'm watching you!" Mr. Mathews said.

"Everything is fine, and Texas was great, Mr. Mathews don't worry." I said.

In that second Riley ran over to Farkle and pressed her lips against his. "Everything is okay, Farkle, I promise, I like you, you like me, the rest is just detail." Riley said smiling.

In that moment, everything was okay. Everything was perfect.
