A/N: today is my birthday!! Yay! 😊 Anyways, I decided to write a birthday one-shot! Hope you enjoy!

I cant believe she forgot.

Riley Grace Mathews; forgot my birthday. She is my best friend in the entire freaking world.

Everyone else got me something, my mom, Shawn, and even Zay, Farkle, and Lucas and they went on some 'guy trip' to Vegas.

I sat down in my room, by my window, eating some left over birthday cake from earlier today.

I couldn't wrap my head around the fact, that my best friend forgot my birthday.

"Some friend." I murmured, as I stuck my fork in the cake and took another bite.

I then was startled by a loud knock at my window, I glanced out of the window to see Lucas Friar standing there, helplessly. I squinted my eyes at his image.

What on earth was he doing here?

I rolled my eyes and reluctantly slid open the window.

"Lucas? What on earth are you doing here?" I asked, furrowing my eyebrows.

"Maya-" he breathed out, "sorry one second I just r-ran h-here."

"Come in, huckleberry." I said as I gestured for Lucas to come inside the window. Lucas nodded with caution and climbed through the window.

"I know Riley forgot your birthday, and that the only people who were in the same state as you on this special day, was Riley." Lucas panted, as he flashed a warm, sympathetic smile.

"Lucas, you didn't have to come here." I confessed, as I threw the plate of cake to the side.

"Yes, I did, and I had to hitch hike and jump on trains to get here; so...yeah." Lucas joked, causing me to smile, as I placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Thank you." I whispered, as I grabbed some of the half-eaten, leftover cake and a fork, "want some."

"Yeah, oh shoot, I almost forgot! I got you something." Lucas exclaimed as he slid his fingers in his back pocket and took out a small box.

"What is it?" I asked, as a smirk appeared on my face, while I unwrapped the delicately placed bow and opened the box. "Oh Lucas! It's beautiful thank you."

I took out a necklace that had a simple flower on it.

"The lady said the flower goes well with blonde hair, so yeah." Lucas said, as his cheeks turned a shade of bright pink.

"That's sweet, and one of the nicest things anyone has done for me." I replied, calmly, "anyways why didn't the boys drive you?"

"Oh, I insisted, I wanted them to stay and have fun."

"While you fend for yourself, traveling?" I finished, as a giggle escaped my mouth.

"Yeah, basically." Lucas laughed out. Lucas then tensed up and started blushing, "I got you something else."

"Lucas this is too much-" I trailed off before Lucas cut me off by crashing his lips against mine.

When we broke we just smiled at each other like idiots.
