" need to eat." Josh stated as he pointed at Devin's food. "Please."

"I'm not very hungry." Devin shrugged. He earned a sharp kick from Angelo. "It tastes really good though." Devin smiled at him, quickly taking a bite.

"Don't force yourself to do anything." Josh sighed. "It's okay."

"No no. You're right, I do need to eat." Devin sighed. "I didn't eat during those few days." He slowly continued to eat, keeping his face low.

"You're ridiculous." Angelo mumbled. Devin glared at him, kicking him in the shin. Angelo jumped as pain spread through his leg. "For a twig you can kick."

"Angelo." Devin growled. "Watch it."

"I have to be exscused. It seems that I need to put a lock on my bag so the little wolf doesn't get into it again." Angelo sighed. He quickly stood up and left the room.

"I'll be going too." Chris mumbled as he quickly wiped his mouth and left.

"I sweat he has a thing for Angelo." Josh chuckled.

"Angelo doesn't really like other wolves. He mostly pretends to for my benefit." Devin shrugged. "I don't think he'd like Chris back."

"People change. I did." Josh chukled.

"How?" Devin whispered. "How did you change?" Josh let out a sigh, standing up.

"I'm going to shower." Josh mumbled. Devin grabbed his hand, staring down at his arm. He gently rubbed the tattoo, his eyes saddening.

"You were in the army."

"I still am." Josh growled as he jerked his arm back. "Don't touch me."

"Josh... I'm sorry." Devin whimpered. "I didn't mean to upset you."

"I know." Josh sighed. "I don't like... Thinking about it. Bad memories. That's all it ever was out there pup." Josh gripped his hand, gently rubbing the tattoo. "Branded. It was... something unimaginable. Not for your ears. Not ever."

"You shouldn't keep it in." Devin mumbled. "You need to talk to someone."

"I do." Josh nodded. "Ashley was out there with me. We share each other's burdens." Josh shook his head, blinking back tears. "I'll be fine Devin. I have been for three years. Let's bring you to bed now." Josh held his hand out to Devin.

"Okay." Devin mumbled as he placed his hand in Josh's. "I'm sorry."

"I said It's fine. Just... Don't talk." Josh chuckled. "I'm always fine, and there's nothing to worry about." Josh spoke more to himself than to anyone. Devin gasped as he tripped over his own feet like the majestic wolf that he was.

"Crap." Devin whimpered. Josh stifled his laughter, looking down at him. "I hate walking." Devin mumbled.

"What else would you do besides walking?" Josh chuckled.

"I don't know. Have you carry me?" Devin giggled. Josh smirked down at him, lifting him. "I didn't mean it literally!" Devin squealed. They both started laughing in the hall.

"You're cute." Josh sighed as his laughs died down. Devin blushed a deep red, looking up at him. "I... I want to love you." Devin gently placed a hand on Josh's cheek.

"I want to stay with you." Devin smiled at him. "I want you, but we can't. I'm... I'm young."

"I can wait till you're ready. I am the most patient man you'll ever meet." Josh chuckled as he placed gentle kiss on Devin's cheek. He shifted Devin so he was easier to carry, and walked down the hall. He brought him into his room, and laid him on his bed. "Do you hear that?"
