"Devin." Josh whined. "Come on. I'll carry you." Devin scoffed, shaking his head. "Please?"

"No. Not after you did that." Devin snit. "You're a butt."

"I jumped in after you, and you were swimming fine." Josh chuckled.

"You shouldn't have thrown me into it!" Devin turned, stomping his foot. "I got wet!"

"I know. You told me not to do anything funny, and that wasn't really funny." Josh shrugged his shoulders, grabbing Devin's hand. "I am sorry sweetie. I didn't think you'd mind much."

"I don't. I just don't like surprises." Devin mumbled.

"Do you want to ride me back? You don't have shoes." Devin slowly nodded, smiling as Josh shifted. Josh quietly barked, walking towards him.

"Don't run again." Devin giggled as he hopped on top of Josh. "You're so fluffy." Devin cooed as he rubbed Josh's fur. Josh snorted, shaking his head.

"Don't baby me." Josh grumbled as he trotted through the woods. Devin giggled, tightening his hold on Josh's fur.

"You're cute in this form. Quiet." Devin smirked down at him, leaning down and kissing Josh on his back. "Stop." Devin spoke, lightly hitting Josh's back. He hopped off the wolf, running towards a weed that was growing up the side of a tree. "Look."

"What?" Josh sighed, sitting next to Devin.

"It helps Angelo's headaches. I've seen him use it." Devin shrugged as he pulled a few leaves off it. "He'll be happy if we bring him some back."

"We go now." Josh growled, looking past Devin. "Someone here."

"No one's..." Devin gasped as Josh pushed himself between Devin's legs and lifted him onto his back. "Josh!" Devin scoffed. "You're not funny."

"Quiet little one. Someone close." Devin frowned, looking around them.

"Then let's get home." Devin whispered. He quickly put the leaves into the waist band of his borrowed boxers before he entangled his fingers Josh's fur. "Please." Josh slowly turned and headed towards the house, running. Devin closed his eyes as the wind whipped his hair in front of his face. He bit his lip, slowly looking down at Josh. "Josh do you know who it was?"

"No. Anyone."

"I'm guessing you can only talk in broken English?"

"Yes."

Devin nodded, smiling as the house came in view. Josh slowly down halfway into the yard, allowing Devin to climb off. Josh quickly shifted and grabbed Devin's arm.

"Someone was out there and I don't know who." Josh frowned. "Why did you run away? Chris was going to tell me but something happened and he had to run off. Is someone after you? Are you being hunted?"

"No. Well. I'm not sure. My dad might send someone after me, but it isn't a high chance. He didn't like me and..." Devin was cut off as a sob escaped his throat.

"Hey. No one is going to take you from me." Josh whispered. He wrapped his arms around Devin's waist and gently nuzzled the Omega's hair. "No one."

"I'd hope so." Josh spun, pushing Devin behind himself. "No need to be jumpy. I just got back."

"Ricky." Josh smiled down at him, pulling Devin in front of himself. "This is Devin."

"I know." Ricky shrugged.  Devin eyes the wolf's clothes, his shirt was tattered and his pants torn.  His hair was the worst mess possible, yet he had the happiest look on his face.  "It's nice to finally meet you. I've been told a lot about you by the Goddess."
