"Last lap!" I hear Gobber shout.

"Black sheep, Bud," I say, leaning forward to pat his head. I change the position of Toothless' fin, pushing us faster. I see a flash of blue sail out from underneath me.

I shake my head, chuckling to myself. "Oh, no you don't," I say. I notice the black sheep being launched into the air a ways away. "Come on, Toothless."

I am currently holding the lead with four sheep, Astrid lies with three, and the twins, Snotlout, and Fishlegs each have one. Astrid, whose a little ahead of me, prepares to make the catch, Stormfly's claws out. I scope the area, making sure it's clear, about to dive under them to snatch the sheep away. i'm not super competitive, but I never pass up a chance to win. But, a sound captures my attention. I see the twins heading toward the sheep near Astrid, so I pull back on Toothless, not wanting to get in their way, hoping to prevent a collision, but it seems like that was their intention. Stormfly captures the sheep right before Barf and Belch plow into her, the two dragons flapping their wings to try and stay in the air.

"Astrid!" I shout in a panic, watching Stormfly plummet toward the village. They hit the hard ground, Astrid rolling until she loses speed. I dive down to make sure she's okay, but by the time I'm preparing to land, she's taking off into the air again, black sheep in hands. "Whew. Looks like she's ok," I tell Toothless, taking a deep breath to relax myself. I fly after her, catching up.  "Hey, are you alright?" i ask, gliding beside her.

"Remind me to give the twins a piece of my mind later," she says, scowling.

I smile, letting out a short laugh. "Will do," I answer. As we pass over the baskets, she drops the sheep in, taking off for the winner's platform. I land behind her, the others perching  lower down.

The audience dies down so my father can speak."good race, riders! And amazing recovery from Astrid! Now, lets head to the Great hall to celebrate!" We take off, heading in that direction.

We land at the stairs, dismounting our dragons. "You two!" Astrid calls to the twins, who stop in their tracks. "You guys are so lucky I don't have my axe right now, but i suggest you watch your backs," she warns, pointing an accusing finger at them.

"Anger issues, A," Tuff scolds.

"Yeah, that move is allowed. It's not like we cheated," Ruff adds, backing up her brother.

"You almost got me killed!" she protests.

"But, we didn't, or we would be having a very different conversation right now," ruffnut counters.

"Are you serious?!"

"Do I look serious?"

"Do you really want me to answer that?" Astrid asks, cooly.

"Are you calling me a liar, Little Missy?"

"Little Missy? I could easily take you."

"are you willing to put your mutton where your mouth is?" Ruff challenges.

The two girls are only inches apart by this point. "Ok, why don't we all just take a step back and calm down!" I say, pushing them away from each other. "Ruff, you did kinda knock Astrid out of the sky," I say.

"See?! Thank you, Hiccup," Astrid says, crossing her arms over her breasts, confident she won the argument.

"But on the other hand, this sort of thing is allowed, so it should be expected," i add.

"Who's side are you on?!" Astrid demands.

"Yeah, stay out of this, Dragon Boy," Ruff orders.

I let out an exasperated sigh. "Alright as you wish."
