Are you ok?

||||Matt's POV||||
Me and Nash drove around for at least a half hour looking for Shawn.

" Where the hell did this boy go?" Nash sounded irritated. I was a little also.
Nash called him one more time and he finally picked up .

" thank god you answered. Now where are you?" He asked Shawn .
" Sitting on the edge of the hill."
" What! Shawn be careful. Where is it. Wait never mind I see you." I drove up to the bottom of the hill and we both walked up to him. His eyes were red and puffy with tear stained cheeks. He was swinging his feet over the ledge of the hill looking down.

" Hey bud are you ok? I know it's kinda right now." I said in a quiet tone. He didn't answer back and I understand. It was quite for a while when Shawn finally said something.

" She had a nightmare about this. We were doing the exact same things that happened in it. She drowned and died. Is that gonna really happen?" He asked us. I'm really unsure of what to say. That's really scary that it happened in her nightmare.

"Um.. Well uh don't think of it that way. Say to yourself she's gonna live and nothing is gonna happen. Hopefully, she'll be awake in a few hours." Nash patted his back. A few tears escaped from his eyes as he wiped them away.

" Why... Why did his have to happen? It's not fair. It's all because of me. This wouldn't of happened if one of you guys got her. I always have to come into someone's life and mess it up. I'm so stupid. Always messing things up and ruining them. I wish she never met me. Sav would still be alive." He told us. I feel so bad for this dude. No words from me until Nash spoke up again. I suck at these kind of moments as you can tell.

" Shawn, your not stupid. Your one of the smartest guys I know. It's hard for all of us because we all loved Savannah. No ones life is perfect and everyone makes mistakes. This isn't even your fault. A wave hit her and you couldn't do a whole lot since we had to stay on land." That was a pretty good speech.
" And Shawn, Sav told me that she is happy to have you in her life." I kinda lied. It was easy to tell that Sav liked him. Shawn was very nice, funny, chill and other words.
" I doubt she said that. No one likes me." He's very depressed right now. Something has to cheer him up.
" Don't say that. Your fans love you. Your family loves you . This might sound weird, but we love you . It's so hard not to love you." That's totally came out of nowhere from me.

The my phone buzzed. It was Cameron.
Cam😂- The nurse said that she is breathing , but might be in a coma for days maybe weeks. But we can go to her room.
M- ok we're coming

I read that out loud and we got up and walked to the jeep. It was a quiet ride back to the hospital. When we got in, we asked the nurse what floor and room she was in. We walked in with Cameron, Jack and surprisingly Sterling sitting there. Jack was on her right and Sterling was on her left with tears in her eyes.

This was so hard to see. My best friend in the hospital bed laying there lifeless. My 4 other best friends standing there watching her. More tears slipped out of my eyes while I was wiping them. Then Jack came up to me and pulled me out of the room. He then shoved me against the wall in the hallway.

" What the hell is your problem?" I asked a little bit scared.
" My problem is that my soon to be girlfriend is in that dam bed on the verge of death! This is all your fault!" Jack shouted at me.
" Soon to be girlfriend? What are you talking about ?" This dude is going crazy.
" I was gonna ask her out at the beach but then you got in the way and ruined it by almost causing her death!" He shouted. Then a man saw us and broke it apart. He told Jack to go home and for me to go back to where I was at.

Then I walked back in and sat on Savs right side. I just stared at her and took her hand. It was so cold and pale. I heard Sterling whimper a little and Cam walked over to her giving her a hug. She sobbed into his chest.

After a while, Sterling and Cam were knocked out on the couch by the window, Matt and Nash slumped down on the floor bumping into each other when falling asleep. I was the only one awake so I decided to talk to her.

"Hey Sav. I know you probably can't here me, but I just want to say I'm sorry for ruining your life. None of this should've happened. And that .... I love you Savannah." I cried but not to loud. Then her parents walked in and saw me.

They walked over and I gave them hugs and let them see her. Mrs. Summer started crying into her husbands chest which was heart breaking to see. Without thinking, I walked out into the pouring rain and ran. I don't know where, but I just had to get away from them before I hurt them like I did to Savannah.
