Breaking Up

We've all been drifting apart. No ones been talking lately even though we've gotten over Jacks death. It's like he had some kind of effect on us that we can't pull away from. He was the tall giant that shadowed us. His smile stained us and could never wash it away.

Right after me and Shawn came back form our mini date, we caught Cameron and Nash fighting. I don't know why, but they were just at each other's necks. Matt and Shawn had to pull them away. Jack hasn't talked to any of us and stayed in his room like a bear hibernating. Aaron has been extra quiet, well, he's always quiet but it's a weird quiet now. I've been feeling depressed and not wanting to be bothered by anyone.

Not even my own boyfriend who's been trying to help me. Troye, Connor, and Sterling left so I couldn't go to one of them. When everyone was in Bart's room for a mini meeting, I could feel tension floating around. That's when our separation process began.

"I've been signed to a record company." Shawn blurted out. My head snapped towards him with my eyes wide.
"Wait what?" I asked.
"Yesterday island records called me saying that they wanted to sign me so I accepted it and... yeah." He leaned in his chair.
"Oh. Well congrats. But what about the tour?" Bart questioned.
"Yeah about that. I think it's kind of hard to be touring while beginning my career. I have to start writing my songs and recording then and it's just gonna take up most of my time." He looked down. I grabbed his hand and rubbed circles around it.

"Woah woah, does that mean you're quitting?" Nash asked. Shawn stayed quiet while still looking down.
"Shawn you can't just do that to us." He said. I didn't know what to do other than try to comfort Shawn.
"It's not that easy Nash. You don't understand." Shawn said back.
"I don't have to understand anything. You can't just go and quit on us like that." Nash rose his voice.

"Um Nash you can't say anything, Hayes told me that you and him were going on Digitour. When were you gonna tell us? Huh?" Cameron raised an eyebrow.
"It's none of your business Cameron. We're focused on Shawn right now." Nash snapped back. Of course, they began fighting again.

Bart had to yell at them then went back to Shawn. He asked him a few questions then asked everyone else about quitting. Apparently Taylor bought a house a house in LA with his friend and he was gonna move out there, Matt was had his own tour, and everyone else had their little things going on. Jack was gonna go on tour but with his friends like Sam Wilkinson.

I though, had nothing to do so I would probably just go home and live my other life. The antisocial, lonely girl life I had before all of this. It was silent for a while until Bart spoke up.
"Ok well. Does this mean um.. You guys are breaking up?"
We looked around then nodded. I actually wanted to cry right now. We had to sign a paper and then left to go to our rooms. I laid on my bed looking up at the ceiling.

Just like that. We're done. No longer together. This tour were the best moments of my life. I had made new and more friends. I had finally gotten a boyfriend. I almost died. My friend died. I had my birthday with them. I just made fun, happy, awesome memories with these cool human beings and now we're leaving each other.

I got up with tears leaving my eyes and began packing all of my stuff. Once it was gone. I went to the living room and sat on the couch thinking about what I'll be doing back in Malibu. Maybe try to make some friends. Or focus on graduating. Yeah that sounds good. But can I actually graduate when I haven't been to school for months? I'd have to probably take classes when I get home.

There was a knock at the door so I got up and opened it. Everyone else was there so I let them in. We sat in silence thinking probably.
"So, are we really splitting up?" I asked quietly.
"I guess so. There's no turning back. I bet Bart already packed his stuff up and left." Nash mentioned.
"I honestly don't wanna leave you guys. But I guess it was just time." Shawn said.
"What will all the fans say?" I questioned.
"Tons of things I bet." Taylor's voice could be heard the kitchen.

"Well I just booked a ticket back to Virginia. I'm moving out!" Matt exclaimed. We all cheered and laughed a little. Moments like this make me happy. We're having a family bonding time.
"Same. I mean I already moved out but I got a new house in LA." Taylor came back with some Oreos in his hands.
"Wait, when is everyone leaving?" Mahogany asked.

We were all leaving tomorrow but Aaron was leaving at 6:30, Carter was leaving at 7:40, Taylor was leaving at 7:50, Nash and Jack were leaving at 8:15, Matt was leaving at 8:30 and Shawn, Cam and I were leaving at 9:00. Shawn insisted that he would stay with me until the end of this week which was only Saturday and Sunday. Cam was going to Malibu to meet his friends so we all just got the same flight.

I decided the for the last day, we make it fun so first we ordered room service then did smack cam, went paint balling, went to an amusement park, saw a movie and went movie hopping until we got kicked out, went to dinner, then for some ice cream and to top it off, there was a fair two blocks away from the ice cream parlor.

It was one of the best days of my life. We got back at the hotel at about one in the morning and all went to bed. Shawn stayed in my room so we just talked until we passed out.

I woke up to a vacuum being turned on. I'm guessing the cleaning people were here because we all are to lazy to pick up after ourselves. I checked the time and it was twelve thirty. We spent half of the day sleeping. Shawn was gone but I didn't really have the energy to look for him so I laid in my bed and fell asleep again.

Again, I woke up and now it was two thirty. Ok now it's just getting crazy so I hopped up, brushed my teeth, fixed my hair, and threw on a black and white stripef shirt, black jeans with rips in the knees, black doc martins, and a maroon bomber jacket. Also my black rimmed glasses. The living room was clean and quiet so I went into Shawn's room where he was putting his guitar away.

"Hola amigo." I smiled.
"Hey. What're you all dressed up for?" He asked.
"I'm not all dressed up. Ok maybe I can take by boots off but whatever." I took my jacket and boots off then sat in a spiny chair.
"So are you excited about your record deal?" I asked.
"Oh yeah. I almost screamed when I heard the news." He perked up just speaking about it. I nodded my head and laughed a little.

"You're lucky. I have nothing to do while you spend time on your music and have fun." I wanted to keep it in my head but that obviously didn't work.
"Well, you can come with me when I go to the studio. It'll be fun. Trust me." He smiled then went back to packing. I nodded my head and closed my eyes.

Today's going good. Now I'm just dreading the leaving part.
