Let it go

"Hey guys it's Cam! Who's excited for today?!" Cameron yelled out to the screaming fans. All I could hear was yelling and nothing else.
"Ok so we have someone new that we'd like y'all to meet. Hey Savannah can you come out here please?" He asked.

Shawn looked at me and gave me a thumbs up.
1...2...3. I walked out and smiled.
"Hi guys! What's up!" I yelled into the microphone. I stood next to Cam who had his arm around me. Everyone was screaming things like "OMG SAVANNAH SUMMERS, or GET OFF MY MAN!!" Girls are ridiculous these days.

For a couple of minutes we just talked and laughed. I sat next to Shawn and Matt.
"Ok so I'm gonna be singing today. As you can see, you can't even hear me but when I sing it'll be much better. Also someone is singing with me today." Shawn said. I wonder who. I looked at him and smiled. All the guys looked at me.
Oh crap I'm the one singing.
"L-looks like I'm s-singing!" I gave a weak smile.
"Are you serious?" I whispered into Shawn's ear.
"I heard you earlier singing. Your voice is pretty. Please sing with me it'll be so much better. Don't even look at the crowd. Close your eyes or look at me." He assured me. I hesitated but agreed.
"What song?" I asked into the microphone.
"I was thinking... Let it go by James Bay." I smiled at him and laughed. Some girls were screaming about that song.

"I'm warning you guys though, she can sing." Shawn added. I just giggled and sat on a stool. The guys got off the stage and the lights dimmed a little. Shawn started strumming his guitar and began singing.

"From walking home and talking loads
To seeing shows in evening clothes with you
From nervous touch and getting drunk

It's my turn now.

"But now we're slipping at the edge

Then we both sung together.

It's going good so far. I'm not that nervous anymore. Do what Shawn said. Close my eyes or look at him. My turn to sing again.

"From throwing clothes across the floor

We both sing again.

At this part he sings the first line than I sing the second part until our duet again.

This was the part where I do my solo but quietly.
