I ran away an hour ago and still, no one has looked for me. See know one cares. The thunderstorm is still going on and it's loud. I don't even know where I am. It's dark and gloomy which is kinda freaky.

I'm currently sitting on a tree branch looking at a stream go be my feet. I would never jump in cause I don't want to die, but I have thoughts. Once in a while I'm pretty sure people have thoughts like that.

I've been so depressed today that I can't really do anything. It's killing me. I want to talk to someone about this but I can't. Nash, Cam and Matt try to help, but I become stubborn and don't talk. There's only one person I can talk to about this . Shelby. She's my absolute best friend since 2nd grade. I took my phone out and dialed her number. She picked up on the third ring.

" Hi Shawn!!! What's up!" She sounded so cheery. I missed her so much.
" Um I want to talk."
" Hey are you ok? You seem kinda depressed." She said with a concern tone.
" Yeah I'm really depressed." I told her
" Ok what's happening "
" Well two days ago, I met this girl Savannah. She is really beautiful and nice. I got to know her and so did everyone else. So today, we decided to go to the beach. But earlier, she told me that she had a nightmare about her drowning and dying in the water. So we made it in and had some fun. Then the lifeguard blew the whistle for us to get out cause there was a storm coming. But she kept swimming so I went to get her. She said that she had to surf the wave that was really big so I left her. So we all watched her surf if it which was really cool, but when she turned around, a bigger wave was about to hit her. All of us started screaming for her to swim towards us before it comes but it was to late . It hit her and drowned her. Then Cam and Nash got jet skis and we went to her."

"I jumped in and got her but her foot was held down by some string so I cut it and Jack helped me with her. Then when we got back to the beach and Jack did rescue breathing and cpr but nothing worked. Then the paramedics came and took her to the hospital. The doctors told us that she might be in a coma for a while. Then I said some words to her as in I love her. Then her parents came and I ran out. Now I'm here in the middle of nowhere talking to you." That was a lot.

She was quiet for a second but then talked.

"Aw Shawn I'm sorry. This must be really hard. But it's not your fault. It's kinda her fault but all the girl wanted to do is surf. It's also the lifeguards fault for not telling you guys earlier that the storm was coming. Hopefully she'll be up soon." That really wasn't that helpful but nice .

" I just don't know what to do. I can't talk to anyone about what's happening to me. Like one minute I'm happy, then now I'm depressed."

" It's ok Shawn. Don't let anything get in your way. Let go of all your worries and anxiety in order to be light and free." There's helpful Shelby I was waiting for.

" Ok thanks Shelbs I'll talk to you later."
"k bye Shawn."
"Bye"

I hung up and got off of the tree and ran back to the hospital. When I walked in, my clothes were all damp and wet but I don't care.

The elevators were full so I walked up the stairs to Savannah's room. Cameron Sterling were awake and she was smiling.

" Hi, why are you so happy?" I asked
" Because the doctor said that there is 90% chance she's gonna wake up tomorrow. And I need to see my best friend." She smiled. That made my heart jump for some reason.

" Really?" There was a little smile on my face. Cameron nodded. I walked over to her mom who was reading a magazine. What's with moms and magazines? Mr. Summer was asleep next to her. I sat down and decided to talk.

" Hi Mrs. Summer. I'm Shawn." I greeted her. She looked up and smiled at me. Then out of nowhere gave me a hug. I didn't want to be rude so I hugged her back.

" Thank you Shawn. I know you tried to help but her being her stubborn self didn't listen. That boy Cameron told me the story. And Jack seems like an asshole don't tell I said that." She whispered that part and smiled. I smirked a little.
" I agree. So the doctors said that she might be waking up tomorrow." Mrs. Summer seems like a nice person. Almost like a second mother.
" Yeah I'm excited also. I want to see my baby. Just asking, are you her boyfriend?" When she said that, I blushed mad hard.
" Um.. N-No w-were just friends" nice going Shawn. You just had to.
" Well you seem really close to Sav. When it comes time and you want to ask her out, you have my permission. And his also." She pointed to Mr. Summer snoring on the couch. I just smiled.
"But it was nice talking to you Shawn. I'm gonna get this big guy home. We'll see you tomorrow." She shook him up and I hugged her. Me. Summer and I just waved at each other. I walked over to Savannah and just sat down. I moved pieces of her hair behind her ear.

" Hey Shawn we're gonna leave do you wanna stay here?" Cameron asked.
" Yeah." I answered.
" Ok well I think Matt is gonna stay also. See you tomorrow." I waved and him, Nash and Sterling left.
" Goodnight Sav, hopefully I'll see you tomorrow." I smiled and kissed her forehead.
Then I fell asleep in the chair.
