Dear Reader,
This bonus chapter is a thank you for the 500 (UPDATE JANUARY 12, 2017: 3.4K) reads! I'm overjoyed that I've reached this many views, really! As a token of my thanks, I present to you a bonus chapter. This bonus chapter has nothing to do with the actual fanfiction (Break my Heart a Thousand Times) but if you seem to like it, I'll be more than happy to make it into its own short story. Though the characters are based on the fanfiction, their personalities are either changed or somewhat the same. I hope you enjoy!

I, America Singer, never was really anything special. Being born into a middle-class family, just like any average person would be, and just living life, floating around here and there. Yet, I was just still an average girl, living in her own college world. My looks didn't quite stand out, either. After a year in college, I could finally make my own decisions.
"I'm taking time off of school," I said, sniffling. I wiped my runny nose and looked at my two closest friends.
Taking a sip of his drink, Derrick looked at me blandly. "If you're leaving, then your locker's mine."
Keahnna, sitting beside him, shot him an angry look. "I was gonna say that! Fine! Then, your textbooks are mine." She considered quietly, giving Derrick mean grimaces.
"You guys..."
"Is it because you didn't get that full scholarship?" Derrick asked sternly, his eyes not leaving his own drink.
"You know, college kids take part-time jobs to pay for their tuition.... It might just be something for you, America!" Keahnna commented cheerfully, her eyes bright.
I shook my head slowly. I couldn't keep up with both a job and college. And my respect for those kids who could. Derrick and Keahnna both sighed.
"Look, just stop drinking, and let's go outside." Keahnna got up from her seat and took my arm gently, nudging me annoyingly to get off my butt.
The cold air was menacing.
Not only was I not wearing a jacket, but almost everyone else in the diner seemed to have gotten the same idea, and come outside all at once too.
"Oh, did you hear?" I heard some girls giggling and whispering behind me.
"I did! He's back, and he's just as dreamy as ever..." Another girl commented, just as lovey-dovey as the girl before her.
I scrunched up my nose and quickly moved away.
---
Keahnna and Derrick were already sitting inside, merrily eating away at the food that was at our table. As soon as Keahnna caught sight of me, she nudged Derrick furiously and waved frantically. "Oh, America! You're back! Come! Eat! It's free!" She shouted from the other side of the room. Derrick shushed her, somewhat harshly, and continued eating in silence.
I snorted.
"Ah, free food..." I grumbled, sitting down at the table.
A wave of commotion swept over the diner as a person, a male, came in through the doorway. Whoever he was, he was sure popular. As the crowd around him disbanded, I caught a sight of him. Oh, he was handsome, alright.
"Ah! Maxon's here!"
"Maxon! Come on! What took you so long?!"
"Maxon! Maxon! Maxon!"
