     "What?" Clary asked "You and I we are sisters, Jocelyn is my mother" I clarified "Kate" Isabelle said "What happened?" Standing up everyone gazed at me "Clary is Valentine's daughter" Jace said.

     This can't be true. There's no way that I'm related to-

     You are linked to me Katherine!

     The last words I heard from Valentine the day he killed my parents. Valentine knew all along that I was his daughter... My father is a monster. All this time, all this years the image of my parents was a loving couple who did everything for me and my brother.

    The journey back to the Institute was silent. No one spoke a word for no one knew what to say after what we found out. Opening the doors of the Institute Clary opened her mouth just to complain about her problems, something I now get is the only thing she does.

     "I still don't understand how can Shadowhunters be better than what you people call mundanes?" She began "Cause we protect humans" Izzy spoke when we all stopped walking.

     Leaning against the wall I watched as Clary used her passive aggressive sarcasm on the one girl I do consider my sister "Right. Humans. You protect humans. You left Simon all alone in the van, good job guys you rock" She said.

     "Hey! Isabelle already explained but you obviously didn't listen since you're always sucked up in your own disturbingly annoying world. She stepped out of the van to see what was causing the noise outside, to see if it was safe, to protect your mundane friend!" I snapped at Clarissa.

     She remained silent while staring at me "There's some truth in the idea that being human should have a modest amount of sense" Alec spoke disgusted and leaned against the pilar next to me.

     "Alec! Not now" Isabelle said pissed "Look, they won't do anything to Simon. The just wanted to draw you out. They want the Cup and they think that you have it" Jace explained calmly "But why do they think that, why does anyone think that?" Clary asked.

     I chuckled at her obliviousness before answering "Maybe because of the fact that Jocelyn used to possess the Cup? Haven't you thought about that?" I said "What am I supposed to do now?" She asked.

     "We have to report to the Clave, to inform them what we know about Valentine" Alec said "What, that he's my father? Our father?" Clary said pointing at me and I rolled my eyes "We still aren't sure if that monster is my father" I said "Great, fine, tell them. What could that do with Simon?" Clary kept throwing out questions.

     For the love of... Now I get why she stands the mundane, they both never know when to shut up! They never stop talking not even to breath, it's irritating!

     "Its all connected, they want the Cup" Jace said "Why? It creates Shadowhunters" She said "Nobody wants Valentine forming an army for himself" Alec said "Clary it's all connected plus it controls demons" Izzy added.

     "Why can't I just toss it in the air and let them fight for it" Clary said "So this doesn't matter to you?" I couldn't help but laugh at Alec's sarcasm "Yes of course it matters!" Clary snapped at us.
