     "All I know is we got to get you out of here" Alec paced around the room "Who do we know in Idris?" I asked. With Jace and Clary gone in some other dimension, literally, we were thinking of any other options to get Isabelle freed.

     If we didn't find a way soon enough, she is going to be prosecuted and much likely restricted of her runes "The only people who care are mum and dad. But they're under suspicion themselves" Isabelle sighed "What about Lydia?" Alec asked.

     Seriously? Out of all the people he could think Alec decided somehow that asking the woman —who is prosecuting Isabelle— for help would be a good idea "Lydia?" Isabelle asked and Alec simply nodded "Why do you keep going there? She's prosecuting me" Isabelle stated

     As much as I wanted to understand Alec and be 'on his side' Lydia is the one who caused all of this. She is the one that placed charges against Izzy without any evidence of it being her who attacked Raj and helped Meliorn escape. For all she knew it could have been any other Shadowhunter who knew about the op.

     "You said she had no choice" I said "She doesn't" Alec defended her and J couldn't help but feel slightly irritated by the fact that he can't seem to wrap his head around the fact that this whole trial is happening because of Lydia. Isabelle is being mistrusted and charged with high treason because of Lydia.

     Yet Alec still manages to defend her "Everyone has a choice, Alec. I made mine. Let me just get through this without losing my self-respect" Isabelle stood up from the couch and gave her back to us. I felt for my parabatai. All I wanted to do was to comfort her and make her feel better, let her know that everything was going to be ok.

     But that's the fact, I don't know if everything's going to be okay anymore. Our entire world had been turned upside down "Look, I know you don't want to believe this but Lydia said she would help if we can give her a way to do it" Alec explained "Maybe I can get her to delay the trial" Alec suggested.

     It won't be possible, I know it "Why?" Isabelle huffed, her irritation growing noticeable "So I can sit here playing computer solitaire while they find something else to blame me for?" She asked rhetorically "I'm just a scapegoat to the Clave. They want the Cup" Isabelle said.

"Let me buy some time to find it. Jace and Clary-" Alec got interrupted almost immediately by Isabelle "Disappeared through a door to God knows where. You said they're lost forever and so is the Cup" Isabelle spoke.

I could almost feel the lose of hope Isabelle was going through, how helpless I knew she felt and how dispensable this whole situation made her think of herself. I wanted to help Isabelle so badly that I was starting to feel guilty for telling Clary and Jace to leave, perhaps if I should have kept my mouth shut Isabelle would already be out of this mess.

"What if I was wrong? I can't find Jace because I weakened our bond but that doesn't mean he can't be found, or that he can't find us" Alec started and looked at me "Back when Clary got kidnapped by the werewolves you were the only one able to track her, maybe we can do the same, track Clary not Jace" He explained.

I shook my head at his comment "I didn't track her. I used a belonging of her to focus my clairvoyant power on. I found her by seeing her future but there might be a way to actually track her" I looked at Izzy and then back at Alec.
