Friday 1st May.
9am.
Life at Marks has been great, It's like a dream here. I've been living in a great house, with amazing people! I haven't been waking up at stupid O'clock in the morning, I haven't had to do anywhere near as many jobs as I did before.
My absolute favorite part of Marks house is his huge library. It's heavan! I spend so much time there it's unreal! I am in here right now, curled up with my latest book. Suddenly I heard a knock at the door.
"Hello?" I said.
"Hey, It's only me" It was Gina. "We've been thinking, do you think it's a good idea to get you into education?"
"OH YES!" I replied a little to enthusiastically.
"Good! How does Marks school sound? It's very nice there!" She said as she came to sit down next to me.
"I'd love to! Oh my gosh!" I said.
Finally, I've had such a good fresh start!
"Oh yes.." Gina said at the door of the library. "Would you like to keep your old name..or would you like a new one? I know it sounds wierd but, you might like a fresh start? You don't have to but..?"
"YES YES YES YES YES YES!" I shouted!
"I'll take that as a yes then haha.. any names in mind?"
"Umm.." I turned my book around. The girl in it was named Hazel in the book I was reading.. I remembered thinking that I loved that name.
"Hazel, Hazel Jones." I said.
"You sure? You're stuck with it for life, you're the lucky person that gets to choose their name!" Said Gina.
"Yes. Yes I'm sure!"
I was over joyed!
10am.
Breakfast, I didn't have to eat 'Bran Flakes' Pancakes and Syrup is on the menu this morning, like a mirical on a plate!
11am.
I got the bus into town with Gina in search of a new wadrobe, she didn't need to do this. But I was already feeling 10 times more loved than I've ever felt before.
"Hazel, do you like this?" She'd ask me. And for a second I wouldn't be able to believe that I could afford to shop in places like New Look, Topshop or even Primark! I know to some people this is where they'd buy there clothes but I'd spent 14 years of my life living out of Oxfam. That's what they called me in primary school. 'the stupid OXFAM BABY'
12:30pm.
With full shopping bag on my arms and an empty stomoch, We met Mark for lunch. Another meal, I actually ate until I was full, I'd been neglected of this feeling until now. I feel like an attention seeker, saying all these things, That's what Natasha would have said..Her name brings anger to me. But nothing could bring me down right now.
