"I spy Carrie's butt!"

I hurtled up from my position on my make-shift yoga mat. It used to be a daily ritual. Wake up, yoga, shower, eat, go back to bed . . . but then school let out and coming back home did kind of screw up my routine.

Rick pouted at me. "I was goin' to join you. I want do Downward Facin' Dog, too," he said, frowning at me with a snooty look.

"That wasn't Downward Dog." Thankfully I hadn't said it. Had I, it might have been a bit more rude. Usually I became very technical and demanding with my yoga, and people who had no idea what they were doing or talking about absolutely outraged me. Thus; why I was home alone--save for the boy in my old room who had come to correct my brother's misguidance of the exercises.

Trying hard not to think that said boy had obviously been in the room watching me stretch without my knowledge, I glared at my brother.

"I was stretchin'."

His eyes grew huge. "That's stretchin'?! I can hardly touch my mid-calves."

This time my eyes grew. "Maybe you should try some yoga."

He snorted, rolling his eyes like any other typical man. "Sure. I'll get on that."

James laughed with him, making the same above-girly-exercises look. "His buns aren't looking for a stretching, Care."

Glaring, I spoke through clenched teeth. "Yoga doesn't just stretch your buns. I'll have you know when I exercise I brake out into sweat."

Rick laughed haughtily. "That's because you're a girl."

Used to his somewhat sexist jibes, I turned to James. "It also helps with heavy liftin'. It strengthens muscles."

"So do push ups."

"If you guys are going to be asses you can leave me alone!"

Rick laughed. "She's only mad because we're right."

With an annoyed glare I stomped up the stares, taking extra care to make sure the higher I got the more noise I made. Quickly though, I turned back around on the landing and called the boys back to where they could see me. With a quick, stealthy flick of muscle, my left leg was in the air by my head, hands not required to hold (though it did hurt for more than a couple seconds).

"I couldn't do this before yoga." Then I turned and stomped my way to Katie's room.

Katie was at a friends for the day so I had perfect timing to sleep and keep sleeping.

"Kansas," Charming sang in my ear. Rolling over onto my side, my arm flung at him, but did not touch him in my half-sleep. "Psst. Wake up."

I grunted some gibberish through hardly open lips and then felt my face go slack as slowly I began to drift back to La La Land.

That is, I was drifting.

Wha--poof!

I screamed and kicked my leg out, catching James in the knee, his pillow falling as he did. I reached for my own pillow and brought it down on his face while he kicked the back of my foot causing me to stumble.
