Anastasia's P.O.VToday I was awoken by the sound of something knocking against the window. It was then that I remembered what happened last night. I shot up out of the bed terrified of the thought that the man could be there.
I was relieved to find out that it was just the sound of the tree outside knocking against my window. But it was knocking so softly so it shouldn't have woken me up because I'm not a light sleeper....or am I.
I hated not being able to remember things like this. I hated not being able to remember!
I bolted into the bathroom because the urge to throw up returned but when I was hanging over the toilet the feeling soon disappeared.
I quickly had a shower and brushed my teeth.
"Ouch!" I cried and I checked to see. My gums were aching like crazy so I just tried my best not to disturb them but it didn't go so well. I almost forgot about them. I'll have to be more careful next time.
I quickly got dressed and brushed my hair. My long, black hair was a mess and tangled. It took a while for me to get all the knots out.
As soon as I was done, it flowed above my rear end in its natural length. I ran down the stairs feeling satisfied and great."Well you're in a good mood today" the lady greeted while setting the table for breakfast.
The urge to vomit returned when the thought of eating food came to mind.
"Don't bother, I don't feel that hungry " I almost pleaded but got back my composure for reassurance.
"Anna, you need to take care of yourself" She said sitting me down, "Now eat up before it gets cold"
"But I..."
"No buts, now eat your food" she quickly dismissed.
I almost smiled at the thought of me acting childish and pouting but that quickly went as it came when I glanced at the food in front of me. I might not remember much but something tells me that I'm always sick which would explain why she's being so strict when it came to eating my food.
I sucked it up and quickly ate breakfast. As soon as I was finished, I told her thanks and went upstairs back to the room.
It was a bit dull in the room so I decided to open up the window from before. As soon as I did the light from the sun came rushing inside making the room have a more bright and welcoming in appearance. The breeze lightly blew against my face giving me a refreshing feeling.
I took a deep breath to inhale my surroundings. I kinda liked it here. It wasn't in the city, but it wasn't in any far part in the state away from town. It was just a good mix of them both.
I studied my surroundings closely as to see if I recognized anything.
Nope... Nothing!
That doesn't surprise me at all.
Wait a minute.... Something seems familiar.
I opened the window up further and climbed out onto the tree nearby.
I stood up on the tree's branch, feeling more comfortable as I did so. I didn't fear being up in the tree this high in fact, it seems that all I wanted to do was go higher.
I held onto a branch above me and climbed up on to it. I continued until I was near the top and couldn't find a higher branch to climb on to.
I stood there allowing the breeze to blow on to my face and it blew my hair wildly in all directions.
Everything seemed lighter up here. It was just peaceful.
I watched as a few people passed by every now and again. I could hear their distant chattering as they did so.
I decided to climb back down but as I looked down I stood frozen unable to move. It seemed so high up all of a sudden. How did I even manage to make it this far.
I snapped out of it and started climbing my way down.
I was just on the third branch when I loss my grip from the branch I was about to stand on. I missed it by more than a couple of inches and slipped making me loose my grip. I immediately loss my balance and started tumbling backwards.
The branches slapped me across my body and the leaves seemed to have been trying to catch me from falling.
I was too terrified to scream. I knew for sure that this was going to hurt.
Somehow I knew that I've been through something like this before. Mostly because as I fell I could see the same thing happening. I was falling but I was falling from a cliff's edge and instead of the tree being in my vision, I could see storm clouds in the sky. They were grey cumulus nimbus clouds that stretched across the sky. I saw a flash of lightening and heard the thunder roar across the sky.
When my body finally hit the ground, I felt as if I was drowning. Blue waters consumed my vision as I sank deeper and deeper into its depths. I soon saw a flash of white light and it clouded my vision.
"Anna......Anna!"I heard a feminine voice echo through the blinding light.
I could feel someone's hand roaming my body as they checked for injuries. They lifted me up and carried me in their arms.
The white light consumed my vision and I could see nothing more until I was loss into it. I couldn't feel anything after that when I drifted into deep sleep.
