Christian's P.O.V
"You don't need to know that" I said dismissing the question.
"I'm her mother, I deserve to know whatever happens to her!"
I sighed.
She didn't deserve that title. She's clueless to what happening to Anastasia. She's changing. She's waking up and that's a good thing but at the same time it doesn't seem to be the best thing to happen at this moment. Speak about horrible timing. But it does have it advantages, if she awakens, it will make it easier to figure out what really happened. I don't know anymore. All of this is getting confusing.
I fear that that is the exact reason why she's unable to hold down her food anymore. She's going through the change. She's finally waking up. Maybe her mother's plan will work after all.
I'm not a stalker. I just.....notice stuff. By keeping an intense eye on her. A very intense watch on her every move.
Just kidding.
Sort of.
I don't think her mother realizes either, that or she's in denial. If she is then that is extremely selfish of her. It seems to me that she'd preferred it if she was just like her.
Human.
But what she's doing could end in her losing Anastasia.
"Her mother huh! How can you be if you don't even know what you're daughter is going through" I hissed. I wanted to see her reaction. This way I'd have an idea of what her intentions or whatever else were.
She was caught off guard by that. Maybe she didn't know.
Maybe.
I needed to test her reactions. I needed just the slightest clue of what's really going on in that head of hers but her reaction wasn't enough for me to understand it fully. She might be masking her true intentions but I can easily find out by looking into her eyes while listening to her heartbeat.
Her heartbeat wavered and picked up its pace, racing faster than before. It's either in fear or anger. Fear that I know something, and anger by what I just said.
I stared at her for more clues but saw nothing that I was looking for. She was falling apart before me. Tears were begging to break free and her lips quivered slightly.
"What do you mean?" She questioned, her voice cracking. She stood before me forcing the tears not to fall.
"Forget I said anything" I dismissed.
Well that was pointless. I didn't find anything I was looking for, maybe she was telling the truth.
"But-"
I shook my head.
"Please" she begged and the tears were now finally rolling down her cheeks.
My face hardened to a point where it was merely emotionless. I was tired of her pathetic begging.
"I shouldn't have come here. I should just left with her but here I am to speaking to you."I said truthfully. I was feeling annoyed with myself because of it. Yeah, why did I come here?
"You just wait one moment!" She shouted authoritatively, getting up abruptly.
"I know that we all made an agreement on this peace treaty but that doesn't say anything. I know from the moment you probably found out about it, you might have found it a bit unfair but you have to live with! You think I wanted to just give away my daughter to monsters like you! If my daughter is such a burden to you well don't bother taking her as your responsibility! It's mostly mine since I'm her mother." She continued,"There's no possible way you can back out now so we'll have to just suck it up. We have no choice but to just go through with it!"
