How Captain Canary came to be

Chapter 2

One moment he was close to kissing Sara, but then Vandal Savage and his men came in bursting through the door and started killing everyone. He could hear Rip telling them from their earpieces to fight Savage.
Ray got into his supersuit and Kendra transformed into her bird form. Sara didn't need to think twice. She immediately got into her assassin mode and she tossed Len his gun. Len could faintly hear Stein and Jackson merging and Rip ordering to take Savage down.
Rip was fighting Savage while the rest of the team where fighting his men.
Len and Sara were fighting side by side.  
Someone was about to attack Leonard.
"Len, watch out", Sara yelled
Len froze the person and they crashed on the ground breaking into a thousand ice pieces.
"Nice shot, Cold", Sara said
"Thanks"
They both looked around and most of Savage's men were dead, or lying on the ground in ice pieces.
"A little help please", Rip yelled
Sara ran towards him and helped him deal with some of Savage's men.
"Oh god thanks Sara",Rip said
"No problem"
Suddenly a smoke bomb came out of nowhere and the entire hall turned white.
"Help!!", Sara yelled
"Saraaaa!!", Len yelled.
"Sara where are you"
"Ahhhhh Len help me"
The white smoke soon vanished but Sara was nowhere to be seen.
"You want Sara? You're going to have to find her."He knew that voice. Savage.
"Give her back", Len yelled. He didn't know where the voice was coming from, he tried to follow the voice and see where it leads but he was unsuccessful in doing so.
"Guys I hate to do this, but we have to go, NOW", Rip ordered
"NOOO, I'm not leaving without Sara", Len replied.
"Listen, I'm sorry. But we have to go. We will find her. I promise", Rip said.
The team started heading back to the Waverider, but Len looked back at the hall that was now damaged.
"I'll find you soon Sara, I promise"

Meanwhile, back at Savage's, Sara was being tortured.
"Hey, little Canary. Why don't you tell me where your friends are, and I'll let you go", Savage said.
"Never", Sara replied.
"You know, I didn't mean to kidnap you. Of course I wanted to kidnap Kendra. But you were the closest to me. Well Canary, I tried doing this the easy way, let's try the hard way, shall we".
Sara was scared. She had never been scared this much. Not even when she died, came back to life, and started going crazy.
Savage took Sara as prisoner and started torturing her so bad. Pretty soon, electric shocks were going through her body. She felt weak, and tired. She could feel the blood coming down from her forehead from the time Savage hit her so hard with his hand.
Sara just wanted to get back to the Waverider, with the team and especially Leonard.
"Len, save me"
