you left her out here
to die.
She always waited and never truly forgot.
She hoped you'd come back.
She hoped you just lost track.
But you left
because you didn't think.
You didn't think
you're losing the best.
You didn't think she could have loved you more than anyone else.
You just didn't think.
So she lay there dying while you were out there
somewhere.
When she died inside
you realized what you lost.
She'll never be the way she was.
Her heart no longer beats.
Not in sync with yours.
Not at all.
She's a heartless mess
with stone cold eyes.
She's a bitch with an attitude
and you lay in bed alone
at night.
