Chapter 24: The Future is Bright

Eren P.O.V.

     "I do." I have finished the ceremony. Levi smiles and slides a sterling silver ring on my finger.

     "You may now kiss your significant other." Levi leans in and kisses me lightly. The clapping fades as we stay like that for a few seconds. Then, we split and reality comes back. 

     We turn, hand and hand, and walk back down the aisle while people blow bubbles as we walk out. 

     Levi opens the car door for me and I get in. Not a minute later, he is sitting in the drivers seat. The car roars to life and he starts to drive. Our next stop, the airport, for a big surprise. 

     Or that is how Levi put it, at least.

               ~Time Skip because yeah~

     I wake with a jolt and look at the clock. 1:26 a.m. Then, I hear crying from the other room. 

     I guess that the twins still don't like sleeping at night. Or at least one of them doesn't. 

     I get up and walk to the room I used to sleep in when I was eighteen and just visiting. I crack the door open and look inside. Only August is being fussy. While Knox is sleeping soundly. I walk in and go beside his crib. I raise him into my arms and start singing. 

     Soon enough, August lays in my arms, sleeping. I put him back in his crib and close the door quietly. 

     I walk back to the room where Levi is sitting up rubbing his eyes. "What happened?" He asked with a yawn following the question.

     "August just woke up. That is it."

     "Is he okay?" 

     "Yeah, I rocked him back to sleep." 

     "Back at it again with the motherly instinct, Eren!" He jokes.

      "True because I woke up right before it happened. Momma Eren for the win!" I comeback with.

      I go around and lay down. I'm ready to sleep and then I hear Levi again.

     "Hey, Eren." 

     "Yes?"

     "I love you."

     "I guess I love you." I laugh a little.

     "You're an asshole."

     "But I'm your asshole." 

     "I wouldn't have it any other way." He replies with.

     "Is that why I chose to marry you?" 

     "I guess, maybe. I don't know!" 

     "You see, Levi, I have psychic powers and I knew if I didn't marry you, you would be sad. And in all honesty, I don't like seeing you sad." He laughs at my reply.

     "Okay then. Goodnight, my love." He says.

     "Goodnight." I reply with a kiss on his forehead.

HELLO FANDOMTEERS/ MY LITTLE SHITS! I read through the comments and saw someone said I skipped the wedding... (whoops) Honesty hour, I really didn't feel that well about this story and such and felt as if a wedding scene would mess it up more. Then, today, I said FUCK IT! THEY NEED A WEDDING SCENE AND A LITTLE MORE! So, here you go! A WEDDING SCENE FOR A SMALL CHILD THAT COMMENTED ON MY STORY!
