VINCENT’S POV

Tama ba ang naririnig ko? This lovely lady is asking me to dance with her? Wow! ang swerte ko naman sa birthday ko!

Franfkly, I forgot it’s my birthday today, I did some important stuffs kasi sa office, I event extended for an overtime,  sa sobrang busy ko eh nakalimutan kong lowbat pala ng phone ko, maybe Dad and my sister Kayce, also some close friends, were trying to call me too, they just never miss to greet me.

But what Maxine did, this surprise she made, is really the best birthday party ever, being with the woman you love? I mean how lucky can I get right?

So hindi na ako nagpa tumpik-tumpik pa, I immediately reach for her soft hands, helped her stand up

as we are facing each other, looking close to each other’s eyes,  I gently pull her closer to me, the music is just so perfect for me to express how much I really wanna be with her, everything is just perfect, me embracing her, smelling her sweet innocent scent, feeling her skin and gently caressing her hair then suddenly…..

“hmmmm Vince?” basag niya sa katahimikan

“yes my princess?” while looking at her, she is all that I can see, sana, sana, sana ngayong gabi, sagutin na nya ako…

“hmmm, medyo matagal ka naring nangliligaw sa akin..naiinip ka naba?” tanong nya

“Not really, being with you makes it all worth it, I don’t call it ligaw, because those things that I do, is just my way of showing you that I love you…” nakangiting sabi ko dito

“Thank you Vince.. pero kasi…hmmmm.. pwede bang huwag mo na akong ligawan?” nahihirapan at namumulang sabi nito..halos hindi ito makatitig sa mata ko…

“pwede bang huwag mo na akong ligawan?”

Waitttttt....WHAT?!!!!!! what have I done?! may kulang ba sa mga nagawa ko? hindi ba niya ako magawang mahalin? is she sick me of me being around? But I feel like she feels something for me too…am I wrong about that?

“But why my princess max?... have I done something? Are you sick of me? am I that controlling? nasasakal ba kita? tell me magbabago ako..please….. don’t you feel anything for me? like anything at all?” halos pasigaw kong sabi…God I can’t afford to lose her…she is a part of me..

“HEP! HEP! HEP!”  taas kamay nyang sabi at ipinatong ang mga kamay nya sa balikat ko..tumimngin sya sa aking habang naka ngiti, how can I stop curting her? when sa ngiti palang nya eh nanglalambot na ang puso ko…

“hoy Vincent ! dami mong tanong, pwede ako muna? ang sabi ko, wag mo na  akong ligawan, kasi sinasagot na kita, hindi mo kasi ako tinatanong kung sinasagot na kita eh, sooo ako nang magsasabi na… sinasagot na kita..ok? tayo na.. I love you Vincent!” nakangiting sabi nya..

“sinasagot na kita..ok? tayo na.. I love you Vincent!”

Jeeez did I hear everything rght? did she….did she…. did she really say yes? and she loves me? bakit parang naging tuod ako, parag bomba akong sasabog sa sobrang tuwa…

“Hoy Vincent! magsalita ka naman!! ayaw mo ba? iiiiih!!! nakakahiya pala to! kung ayaw mo,sige kalimutan mo nalang ang sinabi ko! umuwi ka na na!” then she suddenly turn around me, starting to walk away..

so I immediately grasped her hand, turned her infront of me, closely wrap my arms around her waist.. dahan dahan kong nilapit ang mukha ko sa mukha nya... at unti unting nilapat ang mga labi ko sa malalambot nyong labi…I can really feel the sweetness and innocence on her lips..

gusto ko mang mas lumalim ang halik na iyon, ay pinipigilan ko ang emosyon ko, ayaw kong biglain ang girlfriend ko…yes! girlfriend ko na ang my sweet innocent princess Maxine! As the kiss ended, I look onto her, but still not letting go of her by my embrace

“thank you, hindi mo alam kung gaano mo ako napasaya, grabeee!this is the happiest birthday ever! Scratch that! Happiest moment of my life! I promise to not make you cry, take care of you, ohhh God!…I just love you!” nakaniting ong sabi habang nakatingin sa mapupungay at singkit nyang mata..

“Thank you rin Vincent sa pagtitiyaga mong mangligw sa akin..i promise, I will be the best girlfriend for you, or kung hindi man perfect atleast ma pa-promise ko na mamahalin kita ng tapat at you will always have a huge part in my heart..Forever…I LOVE YOU”
